Make your way to the lowest floor of the art gallery wing, to soak in the vibes of an ancient Roman Amphitheater found beneath Guildhall during construction

Under Guildhall you can see part of an amphitheatre built in 70.AD where Gladiators once fought it out to a roaring crowd. In 200.AD popularity increased so the theatre expanded to hold 6000 spectator

28 September: See London's Roman Amphitheatre . Deep beneath the Gallery is a series of walls which marks the remains of London's Roman Amphitheatre . Entrance is included with a ticket to the Gallery .
