The Benaki Museum is a must-see for any visitor to Athens who only has a few days in the city . It offers a condensed view of Greek history and culture spread over 4 levels. Nice cafe as well !!

One of the best place to explore great exhibitions or just have a break in the museum 's restaurant . !!! Good for families too... The exhibitions change almost every 1-2 months.

Don’t miss the Moralis extended exhibition with the guided tour . Makes all the difference. U get to know the man within the painter .

To be honest,I've never visited the museum as a museum !But I've been here for a couple of theatre performances in summer,in it's inside open air yard and the feeling was amazing! Also used for events .

Do not confuse with Benaki Museum historical collection on V. Sofias St. This building hosts temporary collections of art , photography , architecture - separate ticket charged for each exhibition .

great building that can travel the visitor through time. There are always great installations at the exteriors. Do not forget to check each month for seminars and events

Even though I find the ticket price a bit expensive , the displayed artifacts of centuries of Greek fully compensated it.

Athens' window on contemporary art and design, this outpost is well worth a visit.

Entrance: 6 Euro. Exhibition : one, a few photos of buildings, not more than 60-70 sq.m, only in Greek. Gift shop : pretty good, but a bit overpriced. To sum up: not worth the money.

The Islamic art gallery has artifacts from over 13 centuries. The glistening ceramics from Egypt &Iraq in the 1st gallery are wonderful. Read more

The gift shop has lots of interesting books .

Benaki museum cafe : minimalistic or miserable? Hard to decide. However, cold and detached is for sure. Don't get greek coffee here. They don't make it the right (briki) way. Overpriced too.

Ένα μουσείο με πολύ καλή αισθητική του χώρου και έξυπνη αρχιτεκτονική.

Ωραίες οι εκθέσεις των Massimo Listri και Γ. Τσαρούχη, τα βραβεία αρχιτεκτονικής μια από τα ίδια, μέτριος καφές, φρέσκα κουλουράκια, αργό ή ανύπαρκτο wifi και ένα πωλητήριο που χρειάζεται ανανέωση.
