Lovely place , full of masterpieces of Cycladic art . Went to the Mario Merz exhibition and down stairs was a party full of cocktails for 5€ and mulled wine for 3€. Lovely feeling and building . Vibes

One of the museums that are worth visiting when in Athens. Usually offers great temporary exhibitions except from the permanent collections. Convenient to reach, very good restaurant inside.
Great exhibits . The Cycladic figures are of course amazing. On the top floor, there is an interesting exhibition of life in ancient Athens. Its worth spending half hour on that floor alone.

Museum is open on Mondays, which is very rare. Will safe you from afternoon heat. Start with the top floor -4th. It's more interesting there. Very expensive cafe - 3.80 eur for a cappuccino !!
Nice place for a quick coffee between business meetings , interesting permanent collections and lots of activities designed to educate children.

A must visit museum in Athens . Cycladic civilization is an extraordinary part of Greek History.
Take a sweater, it is cold inside. Check if there is a special exhibition in the second building! We saw Ai Wei Wei by chance!
The fourth floor is definitely the most interesting. Get there before October 2016 to see the Ai Wei Wei exhibit ; it's amazing!
