Pacific Science Center

Everything is super interactive. They encourage touching and playing by default. The insect spot was a big hit and we always stop in at the butterfly pavilion which is a hit for me and the kids.

Nice museum with fewer crowds. Somewhat older and has a lot of space that seems under-utilized. Kind of spread out. Special exhibit of Terra Cotta Warriors from China was awesome.

The Pacific Science Center may have a stuffy sounding name, but you’ll change your mind about that as soon as you experience its World’s Fair architecture , planetarium  and weekend laser light shows. Read more

Fun for all ages. Plenty to do if you decide to spend the day there. Great food at the food court . Wonderful butterfly farm and awesome IMAX theater .

Superb interactive displays, IMAX theatre , friendly staff . Parking is a bit of a pain in parkade w/lg vehs. TIP - many science centres in diff areas have agreement with this one 4 admission.

Visit the Willard Smith Planetarium for shows, star parties, and information about the universe . Don't forget to visit the Pacific Science Center's Science on a Sphere, located just outside the doors. Read more

Good museum for kids, very interactive and lots of fun for kids . Imax cinema is awesome.

We have three words for you when it comes to whether or not to visit the Pacific Science Center: Queen laser show . Bring a blanket and be prepared to sing along.

Been here many times, first time I was probably 8-9. Great place to learn about Science as a kid or with kids. See the Space Needle too.

Architecturally awesome, the laser shows are great and worth seeing. But the butterfly house are my personal favorite.

We dare you to visit the planetarium at the Pacific Science Center and count how many star constellations you can recognize. Ask the guide to help you learn more constellations.

Check out the laser shows . They've got laser opera and popular bands have come play live for other shows. It's Seattle, a little bit different.

Awesome museums and constant events going on. Try the new food court . A little spendy, but lots of different options.

Save time and buy tickets online (at home or on your phone). No need to print tickets, they can do that for you at the Will Call window. Lines were reeeally long when we went.

Tut’s record-setting attendance was challenged—twice—in the past year by 150 Picassos at SAM, and Harry Potter film props and costumes at PSC. Only time will tell if mummies can compete with Muggles. Read more

At the entrance to the Pacific Science Center, they have this courtyard with pools of water. In the pools are dinosaurs .

Excellent touring exhibits like the Terracotta Warriors.

Aging but great. Worth the day it will take to see it.

Amazing place to check out, the IMAX theater is impressive.

The exhibits are a lot of fun for the little ones. Charging extra for exhibits is for the birds though.

If you go without kids, you might be able to go through all of it in about 2 hours

This hands-on museum features IMAX movies and laser shows , plus ever-changing exhibits that include displays on dinosaurs , whales, robots and much more.

I suppose this was a nice family friendly place it just wasnt what I excpected. I suppose I should have done my own research on the place before attending

Fun place for the kids and the Spy exhibit (limited duration) is awesome for adults too.

Seattle's Pacific Science Center was designed in the 1960s by architect Minoru Yamasaki, who would later design New York City 's World Trade Center.

Exhibits are great and very hands on, kid friendly

Don't miss the naked mole rat colony and the indoor / outdoor beehive.

Make sure you try the sushi at Wasabi Bistro on the corner of 2nd Ave and Bell Street.

Laser show is a major improvement over what I've seen two years ago. Highly recommended. They could turn up the volume, though.

Best IMAX (and cheapest, if you have a Microsoft Prime card).

The lasers shows are fun, but be prepared for some extremely loud bass. It will rock your body, literally. Consider bringing earplugs.

Must go to if ur an adult nerd.

Definitely geared towards kids. Still fun as an adult though!

Some of the stuff is a bit dated (tech-wise) and worn, but overall a fun place to kill an hour or two.

Lots and lots of fun. We had a great time and learned a lot.

Ahhhh. Nightmare! Went with my City Pass. Little did I expect it would be like a giant daycare and children running around and banging on things everywhere!
