If you are fascinated by aeroplanes, this is the museum for you! Enjoy the evolution of flight for more than a century. I was fortunate to travel on the Concorde in 1995 - great to step inside again!
Wow, what a place to explore! Obviously a great place for kids, but I found myself wandering around in wonder the whole time. Go early, the museum closes at 5:00 PM daily.
I like that they have here originals from Soviet space exploratory era. I like that they have Mig from Czech Republic there! It is great place to visit although most space artefacts are in KSC Florida
Talk to the docents. There are some old retired Boeing engineers here that know everything there is to know about airplanes and space flight and history and they love to talk about it!
If you are in town this is a must see attraction . Plus if you are in planes reserve more than 4 hours for this its packed with "toys " and loaded with information (boeing history, WWII, NASA etc)
Recommend checking it out on a Free First Thursday . There's tons to see, so if you like it you can then get a membership. Tourists interested in aviation or Seattle history should visit. Worthwhile.
It's almost 10 years ago that I was here but it's feels like a memory of yesterday and I can't wait to come back again! What a marvelous great collection all brought together in one place. Visit!!
Blown away by the size of this museum and all it has to offer. Impossible to read everything but if you have an interest/passion for the industry, it's a must-see. Allow about 3-4 hours time.
One of the best aviation museums in the western hemisphere. Big collection of WWI & WWII aircraft ; diverse collection of iconic aircraft such as the Concorde, B-29 and SR-71.
Enjoyable museum . The docent-led tour of the WW1 and WW2 section was excellent. It's also fun to look through Air Force 1 and the original Boeing "Red Barn" Factory .
The exhibits in the main building was great. Then walk over to the aviation building for more planes . And of course sign up for the Shuttle Flight trainer .
Even if you don't care for planes and Aviation. This place will knock your socks off! CHECK OUT THE World War exhibit .????????????????

Come here early, you'll be spending all day being amazed. So much to see, board and marvel at.

The planes and space-related craft are awesome! It would be easy to spend 4-5 hours here. I couldn't see it all in 3 hours. Well worth the money!
Fantastic museum both from what they have and how it's presented. This museum is even better than the Smithsonian. An entire day could easily be spent here.
Recently took my airplane obsessed toddler for Free First Thursday , he had a blast being able to run around and see all the cool planes !
Allow a huge amount of time if you love planes . Love all the stories built around the exhibits . Especially love the Concorde and Air Force One that you can walk through.

Start with the cockpit displays in the Great Gallery : great audio introductions to instrumentation and helpful for understanding other exhibits .
The WWI and WWII exhibit is the best. There is a small cafeteria for a quick bite and an interactive place of flight for smaller kids.
The air pavilion is incredibly well done and let's you get close and go inside many aircraft . Worth checking out.

Worth going for just their space exhibits , which will take 3-4 hours. If you want to see everything then plan to spend the whole day!

We dare you to visit the Aviation Learning Center and see what it's like being a pilot, follow that up with finding the aircraft you like best and photographing it.
Don't miss the space exhibit across the road and for kids try the tower to hear ATC chatter and watch planes takeoff/land.
After a 30 year career training crews for every shuttle mission, NASA's FFT (Full Fuselage Trainer ) is leaving its home at the Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas, bound for The Museum of Flight!
The 2nd World War are is awesome, I liked that they showed exhibitions not only from both sides.

This might sound obvious, but there is not much here for you if you are not into airplanes. Duh, I know. I went to give it a shot because it was so highly rated, but it wasn't really my jam . Oh well !
MUST SEE the Concorde and the shuttle trainer . Unlike the various shuttles around the country , you can go inside the trainer !

Make sure you visit the WWII exhibits where the W.A.S.P. show us what they did for the war efforts! Many are not aware of these women.

To travel from the Airport , take the train to Tukwilla Station and then bus 124. From Seattle downton take bus 24 which then becomes 124 when leaves the city . To travel back to the city , take the 124.
The Apollo gallery is really good. This museum is huge, allow 4 hours for a thorough visit.
