Luke's Italian Beef

We tried 3 places for pizza while visiting Chicago & Luke's was the best by far. Cool hangout place, fresh hot reasonable priced pizza . Too bad I live 500 miles away or they'd know me by name

I enjoyed Lukes, but I don't have anything else to compare it to. Had the Beef & Sausage combo (dipped)- would recommend. However, it's criminal that they don't have anyway for you to wash-up - messy!

This place wouldn't be anything special if it weren't one of the few places in Chicago you can eat pizza like a New Yorker: That is, fast and folded. The chintzy decor is impressive on 2nd glance.

The minestrone soup is the best I've ever had! The pastas are great too. Service is super quick.

Excellent lunch place in the loop. Just be prepared for a food coma!

Told me they were closed 7 minutes before the hour. There were people eating and they herded me outside and locked the door. Be careful, I had already fed the meter.

Their food is cheap but gross. The fries are good but that's all. Go to Giordanos instead for pizza and hot dougs for hot dogs .
