Hotel Figueroa

Went for dinner . Small plates were great. Yams and the kale salad with chorizo were the best. Service very attentive. Welcoming staff . Bar was fun too.

Outside of the entire F&B staff everyone else here is remarkably bad at their jobs. The property is beautiful however.

Hotel has a refreshed old style and staff is well-trained and very professional. One downside of being an old building is the lack of elevators - it gets very congested during cons. Take the stairs.

Gray bar knowledgeable staff . Art work all local. Good vibe.

The rooms are fine and the price is right. It also has a quirky and unique personality. The bar and pool were great hangs day and night and the location offers great variety all around.

Great location!! Out the back door and across the street is LALive and lots of great restaurants like Katsuya. It's within walking distance to Bottega Louie for dessert . Close to Luxe Hotel/NixonBar

Actual fridge in the room so we could buy yogurt and fruit for breakfast . Such a nice change from fancy hotels with their pressure sensor mini bars . Very lovely decor but definitely no frills.

Amid the Chaos that is L.A Live, you can find sanctuary at this historic hotel . Like something out of the film Casablanca, this place provides a great burger and fries deal for only $8. Dine by pool.

Poolside bar , mojitos and I LOVE the blue drink w/coconut rum ... I don't even need to know the name of the drink, I just say that at the bar , and the tender, he knows!

It's easy to walk past this place, but the interior is an extraordinary example of 1920's Moroccan design. Stop in for a coffee or a drink, or just look around. Make sure you visit the courtyard .

Came here with the assumption it would be a quiet oasis but turns out to be total opposite. It is LOUD with a party vibe! Valet parking is also at a whooping $45 + tax. I don’t recommend.

Charming decor and a beautiful pool area . Rooms need some modern updates but still keeps the feel of an older hotel .

Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. You want a poolside cocktail in sunny L.A. You don’t want the bullshit Hollywood scene. This is the place. Get a martini .

The staff here is great and both upstairs and by the pool are perfect for events

The pool is the real reason to come here. The hotel it self is cool and funky Moroccan themed but the rooms are older with no frills. They don't offer room service nor do they have central air.

Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.

Bar is lackluster but environment is exquisite! (bring a flask of your favorite)

The wifi is not free. There is no microwaves or coffee makers in the room, only an old TV with maybe 12 watchable channels and an old tiny fridge . No pay TV . The shower is a bathtub.

The poolside bar in the back—awesome. This place must be just awesome in the summer.

Public areas of the hotel are nice but my room was the worst I've ever seen in the first world.

This hotel looks awesome, but the service is horrible. If you want a beautiful place near downtown, and don't mind the hassle, then stay here.

Absolute worst hotel . Cracks in the floor, the toilet hardly flushed. Window unit and space heater, concrete ceiling with gross old rug. They didn't even have key cards... But physical keys.
