"Shokoladen" means chocolate . Go design your own chocolate .. Not only for kids, even adults will love it. Oh yess.. Dont forget to bring them home!
Good exhibits and a small factory / production line which is interesting to watch- nice cafe and gift shop , but the admission prices (€11.50 for an adult, less for students/children) are a bit high
Student price is €6 while the normal tickets are priced at €8.50. The vintage chocolate vending machines are very cool.
Very interesting museum , explaining the history of chocolate , its production steps and development. You can actually see how the chocolates are produced on site! And the Caffè is very nice!
Any place that gives me free chocolate is a win in my book . However, after seeing and smelling so much of it, it's hard to resist the museum shop . ????
The museum itself wasn't anything spectacular. Although the cafe and the shop are worth visiting! Excellent chocolates and sweets on both!
Perfect! You can see the history of cacao production.
worth the visit, not necessary to book online as you can buy tickets at the museum
Incredible place! Reserve some time to visit Koln and the museum ! It's beautiful!
A "must see" place if you are in Köln. Dont forget to bring your camera . And have some chocolate before entering. Unless you may die chocolate-starving:)
Good experience, everything is explained in English. Which consider as a miracle here in germany
Very disappointing! The only worthwhile attraction to visit here is the chocolate shop . The museum has very little, just lots of reading off walls and a small factory . Save yourself the time and money
I didn’t enjoy it, for a chocolate lover I was so excited but then the tour was short and really not much to see.. The chocolate shop was nice, many lindt options and funky stuff
Not an absolute must when in Cologne but it is pretty fun. Not many places on this planet with a chocolate fountain !
place worth to visit , and the best part is to do ur own chocolate ???? ????
A beautiful museum that explains europa's chocalate history.
You should try got chocolate it's just amazing and the cafe has really nice panorama through the river .
Free chocolate-dipped wafers aside, I'm not very impressed with this museum . The chocolate museum in Hamburg is way better and more worthy of a visit.
More text than I wanted to read, but the factory portion was really interesting. And of course, samples!
Make your own chocolate bar for 4,90€! Very cool and delicious souvenir.
Good coffee place with a nice view .
Very interesting place to visit even if you are not a chocolate fan!!!
The chocolate was amazing. I would like a chocolate tap like theirs at my home
Really nice place for all ages. Before you start the tour go to the WC
The section about Mesoamerican history is really interesting (2nd floor)
Everything is good!
The museum shop has got a vast variety of the best chocolate !
this chocolate museum puts u on a chocolate starvation mood ????
Great experience and really big variety of chocolate !
Attention, dads! The baby changing room is accessible only through the ladies WC. Don't let them shame you: charge on through.
My 8 and 6 years old sons have enjoyed a lot!
Be sure to check out the chocolate production line in the 2nd floor
Bit pricey for what it is but interesting and a nice experience :)
Cafe is the most impressive part of museum )
Nice museum also for kids
Tasty museum , nice pictures, interesting machines.
Chocolate heaven ????✨
Tourist trap: too expensive (€9), disappointing content, often filled with children and screaming moms, and one gets only a mini chocolate and a taste of liquid chocolate on a sad cracker. Bad museum
If you expect to eat some chocolate , taste different kinds of chocolates , you'll be extremely disappointed. The museum is an epic fail. Does not worth it at all.
Yummy experience!
Not the best museum . Not so interactive. Save your 12€
Really enjoyed the working factory . Very interesting!
I was expecting more of it. Anyway, a nice place to visit.
Chocolate stories and free chocolates .
A Tasty Museum!Lota of fun.
location is excellent. while walking inside, you will have a great scene with rhein river and bridges . it is nice to learn how the chocolate is produced.also dont forget to see tropical room!
Interesting. Had to take some chocolate home with me
The history of chocholate!
Although it isn't worth €8,5 as an entrance fee, you should definitely go to the gift shop and cafe . Taste chocolate at the shop eat cheesecake and chocolate cake at the cafe , people are very friendly

Nice view on the Rhin. Cakes are delicious and the hot chocolate is amazing. It's the place to have a chocolate snack :) - Monica Lrt
Die Hussel/Lindt Confiserie befindet sich im Schokoladenmuseum. - Marcel Schöne
Good place, good view d-_-b - Paul Nguyen
Nice experience but the ride is a bit boring . If you look for some action it’s the wrong place . To see the old cologne it might be interesting for you . Price seems to be fair to me. - Olaf Schulz
This is a fantastic museum of NS history and its impact on Cologne's citizens. If you are not a fluent German speaker, be sure to get the audio guide. The English guide is superb. - Kirstjen Lorenz
Nice little square with lots of Kölsch places around it. Worth a visit! - Jan Rosenberg
Great ambience, perfect service and delicious burgers. Especially atomic burger is delicious! - Kubilay Kilicel
