I loved the cheese crisps and the Tequila on the rocks! Just stopped to get a bite to eat. In my trip to Arizona, these were the best cheese crisps of my entire stay!

This downtown Mexican restaurant has been around for a long time and I can see why. Authentic , delicious Mexican cuisine and friendly service .

Greg Bachman

Quaint. But carne seca far behind el charro. Not even as good as Casa Molinas. Nice to try this place but will just go to el charro forever for carne seca .

Alex

I think the prices are reasonable for the authentic tastes and portions. I also appreciate the added notations for quick picks on vegetarian options .

Suzanne Kranicz

If you can't make it into Mi Nidito, go here! The 'everything' cheese crisp is the bomb!

Beth Larsen

If you like your Chile Relleno classic style and piping hot, this is the place!

Don Furr

Be forewarned; if using a living social deal make sure you print it out. Living social app says you can print it OR show them the voucher # on ur phone. NOPE! Mgr don't care. Gotta have the paper! :(

Julien Edwards

The carne we a is to die for, but the flat enchiladas are a rare treat.

Kathy Vallee

A great place for authentic Mexican food across the street from the Tucson Convention Center

Joyce Laufer Chapman

The chicken tortilla soup is super delish and filling

Don Furr

Food tasted great! If you order tamales , would be a good idea to ck em to see if they have meat in them. Apparently it is not guaranteed! Wait staff is a bit on the cold side. Decor is way cool.

Ross Millar

Good tacos at a great price.

Florencia DeRoussel

Great food and well priced lunch specials . Not the cleanest place so ask for a straw.

Rommel Romero

Try chile relleno , combo plate, flautas , beef taco & our speciality carne seca :-)

Michael G

The red chili burro is awesome!

Tim Barkley

One of my favorite Mexican food places in Tucson

Arthur Richards

Carne seca and a Bohemia... Booyakasha!

Craig Pretzinger

Great red menudo . You need to ask for red or you'll get white.

Don Furr

Food is wonderful. Very authentic . Waitresses not great, but go there for the food. Yum

Tricia Ruiz

Great mini Chimis !!!

Matthew Boepple

Best Mexican food downtown. Get an order of sopapillas for dessert .

Ricardo "Range" Vargas

Ask for your soda with no ice and just use some from a glass of water. A good 3/4 of the glass was ice, and no free refills makes it a rip off.

Rommel Romero

Carne Seca is the best here

Cia

Sit on the patio with the sparrows and get Huevos Rancheros all day. Margaritas and guacamole .

Doug Mueller

The Chorizo & Eggs were great.
