Neat stop-off on the way to Waimea Canyon. You'll get the best photos of the glass with a macro lens as most of the pieces are pretty tiny.
Seems like there is no beach as you drive past warehouses and factories both in use and seemingly abandoned. But there is a beach with sea glass back there after all.
Red glass is the most rare! So even small pieces are a good find.
Getting there early to avoid the crowds.
A quiet beach to visit.
Look for the blue beach glass .. They are the hardest to find !
It’s pretty but every person that was there besides me was taking the glass. Very disappointing.
The glass is all quite small. It is an interesting place but not worth a special trip.
Baby friendly lagoon near the playground (opposite Brennecke's restaurant). Great for kids; great for people who might not be too comfortable in water. - Chilumba
Great beach to hang out. Lots of locals. Also, Birds of Paradise operate out of the little airstrip and you can see the motorized gliders take off. - Laura George
Awesome samples of various coffees and coffee flavored items. Beautiful location. - Damon B
Fantastic, fresh Ahi poke. Tasty Korean meatballs. Beers were delish. Good vibe here. Check it out! - Rhonda Pollard
The view is fantastic. I love watching the water coming up through the rocks. The gift shop area has a large selection of items to shop for. - Carol Judy
