Landlord knows his booze: great beer/cider range and selection, lots of good whiskies and even quality absinthe served properly (no shots or fire here).  Ploughmans-style food, laid-back staff .

Just outside the pub it has been written "best pub in london " and no doubt it is the best, amazing collection of ales , lagers and ciders , and they keep on changing, a friendly barman and decent crowd.

They claim to be the best pub in London - and I definitely won't argue with them! Try and come for the ragtime jazz & blues on Thursdays - perfect accompaniment to a delicious ale .

Beers selection is second to none. No mainstreams here. Plenty of exclusives and seasonals on circulation you won’t get elsewhere. Sample everything on tap , try something from the fridge !

Queens Head pale ale (the house brew ) is a tasty, easy drinking session beer . Also very nice staff , ask for suggestions or a sampler of anything on tap .

My favourite pub around King's Cross. Extremely wide range of independent ales , ciders , spirits that's always changing. Free blues and jazz some nights.

Being a free pub , there is a large selection of beers and ciders for all tastes. The food is above average and affordable , such as the homemade pies !

What an absolute gem. Haven't seen a pub so avid and ambitious when it comes to stocking the most unique beers . Their bottle selection alone is unparalleled. Deserves success.

Very good beer selection . The Kernel brewery is definitely recommended. Pork pies were also good here.

For the premises itself it is worth a visit. The Beer selection is good but better documented on the other tips hear. Definitely worth a visit.

Try one of the porters or a stout - there's always a couple of blinders available draught or more available bottled.
