Like an old French brasserie but with a NOLA twist. Food absolutely delicious, from the rich, smokey gumbo to the magnificent reinvented spaghetti alla carbonara (????). Not cheap but worth every cent.

Brendan Rastetter

Order the gumbo of the day (whatever it may be), housemade spaghetti w/ guanciale & fried poached egg , the amazing Muscovy duck leg confit and the banana brown butter tart for dessert . Flawless menu!

Like New Orleans itself, the kitchen (under daily direction from chef de cuisine Rebecca Wilcomb) borrows from a grab bag of cultures and somehow arrives at an elegant crossroad. Read more

New American cuisine in a classic atmosphere. Great service and dishes that are a combination of local flavored and French techniques. Nominated for a Janes Beard award. Try the fresh fish selection .

This is a fantastic play on carbonara . It's one of those instances where a chef not only changes a dish, but evolves it into something greater. Just wait 'til you crack open that egg . Read more

Gumbo , a must for tourist . That smokiness is unreal. Had the decadent duck led confit and was delighted. Dessert Vietnamese coffee with flourless cake .

Traci Schuh

A must stop when in NOLA! Confit is amazing if baby Brussels Sprouts are on the menu, be smart and order them, more addictive than the best potato chip or salty snack you have ever had in your mouth!

Roxanna Flores

Every single bite was delicious! Highly recommend the gumbo of the day and homemade spaghetti to share. The duck confit and banana brown butter tart for dessert . Soooo good!

Dave Sawyer

Attire is smart casual . Don't anticipate the fanciest presentation, but you can expect crazy delicious food, with some of the best desserts in town .

Dave Sawyer

Pair the chocolate malted mousse dessert with the Old Rasputin Imperial Stout . Nicely complimenting dessert / beer pairing .

Nikki Nickerson

We had a lovely decadent lunch and hated to leave. Great wine list by the glass. Incredible dishes that are small so you can try a few. Favorites were the homemade pasta with egg on top.

A Lou

Great Experience and excellent food. However, found an insect in one of our appetizers , they replaced it when we showed them; but they did not have the courtesy to remove that dish from our check.

The fish of the day was perfectly poached, the flourless chocolate cake was outstanding. Solid wine list and a great G&T.

Chocolate-pudding cake with house-made cashew ice cream is a nice finish. Big windows on two sides makes it feel like you're sitting outside on St. Charles & Girod.

Schedule a reservation if you don't want to contend with the local business and law crowd. Great for a business lunch or for anyone in from out of town . Along the street car route.
