Ordered the best from the menu off 4sq: lobster ravioli , amaretti martini but the pruscioto cruster salmon is the best salmon ever in my life! So happy with my choices! Cheers!

The food was exceptional. From the ingredients to cooking to the presentation, everything was about right. The staff was friendly and spoke fluent English. Gets pricely but worth the money.

My favourite Italian in Shanghai must try the ricotta starter! Truffle Pizza is a winner too. High end , good place to try to impress with a view of the bund.

Real good italian food ; ricotta cheese , margarita pizza , mushroom risotto , spaghetti with tomato sauce , crusted salmon , mascarpone cheesecake , choc soufflé - all the above were DELISH!

Rude server, excellent food. They have quieter rooms at the back with a great view of the Bund. Particularly liked the mushroom pizza and tuna tartare crostini , was too full when we got to the mains!

For a nice view of the Bund better to book in advance. Tartar was delicious. You can also come for drinks or quick meal at the bar

The warm seafood salad was my favorite dish of the night, followed by the spicy salami broccolini ricotta cheese pizza . Truffle pasta is mediocre. Pear marzipan Tart for dessert was also okay.

Amazing!! Definitely recommend for great Italian food in Shanghai. Crispy pork ribs were very good. Great restaurant vibe.

Don't be afraid to go alone. Seats surrounding the pizza kitchen are good for solo-diners, and allow for a fun view of the action.

Amazing JGV fare! great unpretensious food and great cocktails too with his known twist; get the mushroom pizza , risotto and warm seafood salad which i really recommend.

Tried three cheese & mushroom pizza - something to die for! Was rated by that's Sh as the best pizza in town . Totally agree ????

The food here blows my mind everytime I come, although I cannot say the same thing about the service which has gotten a little bad or at least for me, try the porcini crusted salmon it's amaaazing

Food is super, great combinations of flavour, attentive service , 600 RMB pp upwards, relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful Bund view .

Avoid paying 80rmb for bottled water by daring to look like a cheapskate and asking for table water. They do have it, but if you ask for water they'll default to bottled. Appetisers are fantastic.

Service response is little bit low but quality is good. Taste is excellent based on Italian restaurants in China. But I couldn't understand why they don't have beef carpaccio ?

Book a table for a river view , otherwise chat to the chef while sitting opposite the pizza oven!
