Vegans this is where it's at. They have a dedicated vegan and (and also a dedicated gluten free menu ) so you actually get full selections not just that one choice like at most restaurants .

We LOVE Departure ! We’ve been for both dinner & happy hour . We particularly really enjoy the wings (lollipops ), shu mai & the kimchi fried rice with pork belly . If in Portland, Departure is a must!

Felt like I was stepping into the "End of Line " club. Fantastic looking bar with a very yummy specialty cocktail list (made with drinking vinegars). Must check out the rooftop view .

A Spicy Korean rice noodle (AKA "Topokki") is great! Not so spicy but you should try it! :)

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at....two words...BLANCHED WATERMELON ! Lisa is the best hostess in town and oh Kerry's not a bad bloke either. Beautiful sunsets here.

Chef Gregory Gourdet is the man! Our favorite bites = the Departure Wings , Baby Back Ribs , Crispy Squid , Octopus , and the Crispy Pork Belly !

Order the fantastic vegan sushi , the curry is so good, tempeh , mushrooms , and make sure to save room for the AMAZING vegan desserts . Service is also excellent.

There's something very Starship Enterprise about this place, albeit with sweeping views of downtown Portland and surrounds and solid cocktails . Great pick for a fancy night out.

In addition to nice views of thr city , especially at night, the food is great, appropriately portioned and not very heavy, allowing you to try a bunch of things.

Amazing views of the city , especially at sunset . Happy hours are 4-6pm and 10pm - close, Tuesday to Thursday, then 11pm - close Friday and Saturday nights.

Tuna sashimi are delicious, and the bibimbap is awesome. The apple dessert is absolutely delicious as well .

Yes, rooftop is nice. But, the ambiance stinks! There's no music & it's "line service" @ bar . Blah!
