You gotta have the mash and bangers . They also have a good but small selection of local beers . Price is definitely reasonable and it is not too far from the Royal Mile.
Their speciality are sausages and mashes and those are REALLY good! Lamb and mint sausage is must try. Try also Thistly Cross cider from whiskey cask ! Strong, but delicious!
The staff is really friendly and the food is good since is really comfort food , you should expect to leave this place with a couple of pounds on your belly.
Reasonable prices and friendly staff . This place is so good we went there twice during our 5-day stay in Edinburgh. Try the stake and ale pie and you won't regret it.

Most of Mum's sausages are gluten-free, and there is always a gluten-free gravy on hand. The service is friendly and fast.
