The cebiche and the causa were really good. I wanted more but I wanted to try other things in the menu. I had the lomo saltado and it was very good. The cocktails were amazing.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant . The staff is amazing, the owner is friendly and welcoming, and the food is incredible. Wish I lived in Portland just to come here more often

Christian Aniciete

Excellent Peruvian cuisine . Grilled chicken and squid kabobs are very tasty. The pitcher of homemade secret recipe sangria is to die for - a must try for only under $20!

Ethar El-Katatney

Amazing. Food was perfection. If you love seafood , come here and just get tapas . Octopus and crab and local fish and scallops and shrimp . Flavors pop & so unique. Divine. Great ambience & service.

Ulysses .

Outstanding. 4 small plates and a drink for two will run ~$75, totally worth it (& filling). Wonderful ambience, quiet on a Sunday night. Freshest and tastiest ceviche we’ve ever had outside of Peru.

Sara D

Loud but amazing. Service and food was lovely. The compliments of flavors and accommodations are purely spectacular. The drinks are spendy but well mixed. They have a happy hour too. Great date place .

Patrick Woody

the signature cocktail named Sacsayhuamàn (“Sexy Wo Mon”) is habanero infused vodka with passion fruit purée and cane sugar . Very good with just a touch of heat.

Avery Bell

One of the consistently best restaurants in Portland. The Mango Verde Ceviche and Morada Causa were delicious...but everything here is great, and their spicy cocktails are delicious (try a Caipirinha )

Rory Parness

The duck confit in the arroz con pato was a crazy combo of super crispy skin and tender, rich meat. Pair with a glass of their sangria . Nice!

Mark D'Asian

The filet mignon ..almost melted it was just that tender.. Our waitress Libbey was attentive and very informed on the menu.. The oysters on half shell were awesome

J'Amy Stewart

Absolutely delicious with a lively atmosphere . Highly recommend the Anticucho de Pulpo , Mixta Nikkei, and the Melones con Aja cocktail .

Duncan Davidson

Everything here—from the drinks to the sauces with is always first rate. The only negative is that lots of people know how awesome it is and it can get packed up and loud . Always a winner.

Halsted Bernard

Fantastic gluten-free options like quinoa risotto and escabeche de pollito. Lovely space, friendly service . A great choice for special occasions !

Lauren Melcher

Our favorites: cebiche "5 elementos", causa mixta nikkei , lomo saltado and quinoa risotto (chisaya mama).

Natalie

Without a doubt the best vegan meal in Portland! Ask for their vegetarian menu - most of it can be made vegan . They really pay attention and care about vegans here. I can't wait to go back!

Eldon Carandan

Tapas is on point, especially the grilled octopus kebobs and grilled diver scallops . Delicious!

Some really interesting dishes on the menu. Always a buzzing crowd. One of my go to places

Elton Pinto

Come with a group of friends and do it tapas stye. The entrees can be shared as tapas , too. That way you can try more of the deliciousness!

The salsas offered with bread as appetizers were really good..esp the passion fruit salsa..lot of options for vegetarians ..slightly pricey but a good place to try Peruvian

Moshe Sananes

Excellent Peruvian restaurant , a fusion between Spanish tapas and south american food . Not cheap but Recommended.

Jay Kuo

Oyster and music were good. Jamon Serrano was good. Drinks are very good. All other dishes were so-so and over priced, but they comp'd me a drink and a free appetizer (kitchen mistake)!

Nathan Kam

If you're gonna eat here, take a bunch of people with you so you can enjoy a ton of the great dishes on the menu. Had a really good time here. Great staff .

AMAZING service and the food was super good. On the expensive side, but well worth it.

Karen H

Terrific service , drinks and selection of small plates in the bar .

AD Nys

Don't ask for an off-menu chef 's tasting meal if with a small group. Order all the apps instead. They aren't geared for omakase .

Brandon Lee

The scallops was a good choice for tapas . Honestly anything that is scallop tapas is just great.

Food & Wine

At this Peruvian restaurant 's Bar Mestizo, the Nuevo Latino and classic Latin cocktails (like a top-shelf pisco sour ) are accompanied every night by live jazz , Latin or swing music .

USA TODAY

Try the Causa Mixta Nikkei , Peruvian tapas with a key lime-spiked mashed-potato base, topped with crab , tuna and crispy shrimp . Quinoa salad and other vegetarian food is also offered here. Read more

Mandar Pathak

The Hongos Saltados (wok-fried mushrooms served with garlic rice ) is a delicious option for vegetarians .

Ryan McCracken

Great tapas and cocktails . Grab a seat in the bar for a nice informal meal!

Ted Pennings

Vegan options are awesome! Ask for the vegetarian menu -- vegan items labeled with a V

Mary-Lauren Stephens

Highly recommend the steak tartare , any of the causas and their ceviche !

Colleen Parsons

Share share share! Too many yummy things to choose so you may have to revisit many times.

That fantastic fig cheesecake is the perfect desert to an amazing meal.

Joe Lin

Delicious cocktails that I can't pronounce and yummy tapas ! The octopus was our favorite of the night

Enrique Gutiérrez Arzate

I'd say this restaurant is on the top 5 in Portland. Try the ceviche no matter what

Nicholas Kraft

Enough has been said about how great the food is (because it truly is) but the three sauces they bring for the bread : peanut , mint , and passion fruit , is the greatest. I usually go through 3 orders.

Jenny Carron

Pricey , but totally worth it; get the stuffed, fried yucca — it was incredible!
