Legitimately skillful ramen from a small joint punching up to rival Japanese chains. Broth thin but immensely flavorful like a consommé , noodles have the PERFECT bounce, chashu soft and unctuous.
The veggie broth delicious ramen , loved it. Plenty of prickly ash flave.
This is the best ramen I've had in Portland! The Shio and Shoyu are both delicious, but try the spicy Sichuan mala for something more unusual!
Customizable ramen (vegan or bone broth , noodles , spice level) that is consistently good. I’ve always enjoyed the specials! I recommend adding an egg .
WILLIAMS AVE: A well-received local newcomer. Just perfect on a rainy day. If you like spicy , the Ma La ramen is quite the treat.
Really love the gyoza here, and the shoyu bowl is a solid one. I wish they had a fattier pork belly , but they *do* have awesome seasonal specials .
I've only tried the shoyu , but it was a tasty but not super rich broth. The noodles have a great chew too. The miso is supposed to be excellent
Loved the spicy tan tan ramen and had a beautiful purple cocktail too! (Murasaki, I believe)
The coffee jelly is unusual and delicious! Heavy cream on top cuts the coffee acidity just right.
The spicy miso and MaLa are my favorites. Gotta add the egg .
Might I recommend the Mala or the Tantan.

Decent ramen bar but nothing outstanding. Recommend adding an egg to any ramen order. A little disappointed that they started clearing our table before we even finished our meal.
