Go with an excellently comprised bowl of Miso Tonkotsu Ramen made with Shinshu miso , pork broth , scallions , chashu pork , seasoned egg , kikurage, mushroom , red onion , & sesame .

Before the ramen , get the tender and flavorful Steamed Pork Bun made with braised kakuni pork , scallions , cilantro , pickled daikon radish , & sweet chili soy.

If you're not here for the yuzu , what are you even here for? Light, yet packed with flavor and a pleasant citrus kick. Besides the chashu and egg , toppings are pretty plain to the superstar broth.

Hands down the best Japanese food in town , whether you want kushiyaki, ramen , or chawanmushi . Seriously great food and environment.

Their specialty is a yuzu shio ramen , which is light, crisp, and refreshing… But Afuri is also a damn good izakaya . Start off with an assortment of small bites, skewers , nigiri … Finish off with ramen !

Sake drinker looking for something different? I very highly recommended the "Cedar Barrel". Absolutely fantastic brew with just the right hint of cedar to it. Do a 10oz Tokuri. It's worth it.

Great space, open & industrial, but not loud . I could talk in a normal level to the person I was with. Had the Torigara spicy ramen , spicy but not too spicy . You could taste everything else with it.

The tonkotsu tantanmen is incredible, strongly recommended and at the edge of a non-spicy person's heat tolerance.

Get the gyoza ! They're amazing. Great ramen . The yuzu and endamame cocktails are great too.

My favorite ramen shop from Tokyo is in Portland! Recommend the yuzu shio (chicken base).

The tonkotsu was fantastic. A bit spicy . Good sake selection , too, with sizeable portions for a flight.

Sushi is fresh ramen is tasty and the hot green tea ???? is super good

Their sake ice cream is amazing and unlike anything I’ve taste in ice cream .
