Curry Don. If you aren't feeling ramen , this is the way to go. So much food, fantastic veggies , and delicious little potato puffs to put a smile on your face. My favorite ramen !
The Miso Ramen was pretty good. Not great, but worth stopping in for. Definitely get the spicy sauce add-on then head upstairs to Pika Pika for photo booth madness. Read more on WinstonWanders below! Read more
Pretty good spicy miso ramen . Only interesting thing is the servers were speaking in Thai and instead of seaweed I got a piece of green veg ...
great ramen and soba . i recommend the basic negi-ramen with the tonkatsu (rice with fried pork cutlet ) added on the side.
I like the basic ramen with extra green onions . You can get a side of rice with fried pork for $5 or so.
Get the Suzu miso ramen with extra spicy paste. Delicious and sinus-clearing all at once.
Came here a year ago, and the portions were phenomenal and the food was amazing. It's different now.. It's smaller food and doesn't taste as good. Wouldn't recommend it as much anymore.
If you order the Ebi Ramen ask for the tempura shrimp on the side. After a couple of minutes they just become soggy and difficult to eat
Ramen is big and good. I liked it and would come back again.
Be warned: you'll have to wait for a while before getting a table! When you're there, don't forget to write your name down and wait to be called. Their Tokyo Ramen is the best!
Come here sign your name to wait in the queue before you go off to explore Japan town :)
I have had pretty much all of the Ramen offering and they are all oishii (delicious)! The spicy ramen here is particularly good.
Good soba noodles , plenty of healthy options .
The most consistent hours in J-Town. It's open when most other ramen spots are closed.
Get here by 5:30 to be seated immediately. After that, you'll probably have to wait.
It's totally fine/average. Better places are in the mall here, but often with a much longer wait!
If this is the best ramen in SF , that's sad. Points for a decent vegetarian broth but pork ramen choices lack a lot.
this is where i go for Ramen . its in the japan town mall .
The seafood salad and chashu ramen are perfectly delectable.
Spicy ramen with miso broth is great.
try the ramen , it's delicious!
Up for an adventure? Come alone and get seated with other ramen lovers.
Miso Ramen w~pork belly...!
awesome kaarage ramen . best in the city
Ownership change since my original post. I can no longer recommend eating here. The broth was too salty, they removed all standard Japanese toppings, nori , fish cake , etc. Pork was rubbery.
Amaze. Karagi ramen is the best.
Lamen + udon curry
Gets crowded on weekends. Get there before 11:30.
I saw a rat there between ordering and getting my food, but ate it anyway. food was good, but that was a little unnerving.
Ten minute wait for a table at 8:30 pm at night. Ramen is hand made at the premises.
Add green onions and chilli paste to the pork miso . Takes it to a whole new level.
Best ramen I have found in San Francisco.
Try the Japanese Fried Chicken , it is good!!!!!
Decent. Does the job for $10 ramen in the city .
Try the Grilled Beef Donburi - Delicious traditional yumminess
Try the Chashu Ramen
Soup was average and noodles were cooked perfectly chewy
This place has really changed since I was last here a year ago. Good was not great at all. Last time it was blissful. This time it was blah!
Best Noodles in SF
Try their takoyaki it's pretty good too
Outside seating is inside.
Try the Miso Ramen - #comfortfood yummy goodness
The miso broth is amazing
Amazing spicy ramen
Pork belly ramen
If your not in the mood for ramen - go for the ebi curry !
Don't forget, they're closed on Tuesdays. Yelp and other sites don't seem to know that. Oh, miso ramen all the way!
delicious fresh ramen and soba .
Check out the ramen & sushi or don combo!!
Meh. The broths are so salty and the ramen as a while just seems carelessly executed. Also, they hide their 73 health inspection score in the pass through to the kitchen. Not cool.
Get any ramen with pork belly on it; the pork belly is amazing. - Christopher Lee-Egan
Iced Boba Mill Tea is refreshing and so tasty. Give it a try. - Juan Carlos R
Vegan ramen with soy milk broth was a different take on ramen, and I actually really enjoyed it! - Sravanti Tekumalla
Japanese crepe has green tea ice cream, red beans, and macha sauce. Delicious! Make sure you add ice cream to any crepe you get. You need to balance out the dry crispy crepe with something creamy - Kelly ????
Their selection of design and craft books/magazines is outstanding! Everything is oh-so-kawaii =) If you dig Asian cuteness, this is THE place. - ivy♥
Great to pick up lunch-choose from delish bento boxes, sushi, musubi or seaweed salad. Fresh and healthy! - S C
