By far my favorite ramen place in San Francisco with delicious chicken ramen and super quality al dente noodles . The fried chicken appetizer is also MIND BLOWING
Delicious new spot to add to my rotating list of ramen joints. Ordered the Hinodeya Ramen . The dashi broth was delicious - light but very full of flavor. Will try their Tori Paitan next.
The namesake Hinodeya ramen was delicious. The dashi soup tastes lighter than pork-based broth, but it's still packed with flavor. The 5 pieces of tasty karaage won't fill u up before the main event .
The house bowl of Hinodeya Ramen is truly wonderful. Loved the chew of the noodles and rich, savory broth - all perfected with a heaping scoop of the chili garlic condiment, Tabera . WinstonWanders.com
Great service and staff are all very friendly . Go for the House Ramen and you won’t be disappointed. Kara-Age with the Green Tea Salt is a good choice for an appetizer . Join it with a Sake flight. ????
Vegan ramen is one of my favorites in SF. Add tabera if you like some spice and extra flavor
Vegan ramen is the best! If not a tofu fan then get extra mushrooms or squash !
I never regret getting the house ramen each time I come here. I do regret getting the delicious Sapporo when my stomach is already full from the broth. And about the broth; not too creamy! ????
Vegan Ramen absolute satisfying my taste. Zen Ramen pure and zesty. Great place with unique energy.
The fried chicken with green tea salt and chicken ramen with soft boiled egg were delicious!
One of the top ramen spots in SF and the Bay Area. Their house ramen with the kombu broth was other worldly. An experience for your taste buds. Excellent tofu and noodles , A+ service. Love this place!
House ramen was superb, especially with the Tabera mix served tableside. Half salad is delicious and generous. They have plain, ume, and yuzu distilled barley drinks, too!
Tired of tonkotsu ? Wanna try ramen that Japanese people in SF give their seal of approval? Then come to Hinodeya. If you’re feeling adventurous, try their Hamaguri Ramen but their standard ramen is ????
House ramen is great! Wasn’t mad that I added extra bamboo shoots (“menma”).
This is very good. House special . Ask for extra noodles half way through. It's a tad sparse in the bowl. Karage comes with this matcha salt too.
The vegan ramen is incredible. From a non-vegan, what is this sorcery?! (The chicken ramen here is great too! ????)
By far my favorite ramen place . Lots of vegan options now! We tried 2 / 3 vegan ramens , the creamy and zen. Both were incredible. Also had the green gyoza , which was wonderful.
Awesome service, amazing food. Get some kara-age to munch on while you wait for your soup .
Dashi Ramen was light but so delicious. The fall-off-the-bone chicken wings were a surprise hit.
Really delicious ramen . Broth is dashi/seafood base that is light and flavorful. Noodles had great texture. Try the house bowl first
The house ramen (Hinodeya Ramen ) is very yummy. Mild but flavorful broth, unlike most of the broths around the city .
House Ramen is very good. The broth is flavorful, light & clean tasting. Noodles are perfectly al dente .
All of the ramen options are fantastic. Asahi draft is cold and perfectly poured. Staff is super friendly and the line is now much shorter than Mensho.
If you like authentic ramen , this is the place to go! We were so happy w/our choices, it was worth the wait in line . I will say b/c they are so busy the service wasn’t that great but it didn’t bug us.
Vegan ramen with soy milk broth was a different take on ramen , and I actually really enjoyed it!
awesome ramen , best karage in the bay , will need to go back to try other ones
Ramen is definitely one of the best in SF. Should also try the gyoza . Make sure to know what is your spice level.
Amazing ramen and great experience!
The fried tofu side is just as delicious as the house ramen
Great DASHI ramen ! I was surprised this tasty ramen came here in Japantown. Will try chicken paitan next.
house ramen is subtle and delicious. ambiance is very Japanese
Ramen has think wavy noodles , light broth, and perfectly cooked eggs
The creamy ramen is vegan ???? & made with soy milk ????. I’ve had it over 20xs it’s that good! ????
Excellent Ramen . Maybe the best I’ve had in the city . Careful with that spice level!!
Line was worth it. Ramen was exceptional and the veggie ramen was well made too
I don't go here for traditional ramen , just the vegan (creamy) because the pumpkin and kale are super flavorful.
One of the best ramen broths I've tried in the city . Get the fried cheese
Hinodeya ramen ! Tasty soup and yummy toppings ????
The house ramen was incredible.
The Ramen broth is different from your traditional ramen broth . Purely delicious!!
House ramen with extra spice was bomb
Best ramen in SF, even during the quarantine!
Their signature ramen was REALLY tasty
Great ramen but if you order mochi , don't eat the little red raisins
The ice cream is surprisingly amazing. As is the ramen
The different ramens and chicken karaage are must tries.
Spicy miso ramen ... no so spicy but reeeeally good
Great outdoor seating , even have a few heaters too!
Vegan ramen !! Went with Jamie, Sabrina and Kristina.
Creamy ramen and gyoza were nice!
