One of my favorite ramen . Noodles & ingredients are delivered directly from the Japanese. Their private dining area for each customer. Welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.
for chili-lovers, it's absolutely okay to go above 5x the spicy level for this one. doesn't taste quite as good as the Tokyo version because the ingredients are local but it's pretty damn good. ????????
6 months on and I'm still raving abt the ramen here. It's 24h so get your ramen supper fix anytime at this outlet! Secret sauce level anything above regular may be too spicy for the average folks.
It's good but it's not that amazing. Noodles are yes, very good and firm but the broth didn't complement it very well . Note: I tried medium for everything and firm for noodles . Open 24 hours !
A taste of Japan in Hong Kong. Expect a line of people wanting to splurge on this Ramen Bowls. This particular branch is tucked in Causeway and walk away from shopping hubs.
Quality ramen . Went for light based soup rich flavour. Recommend extra garlic and onions and don't have a date after :) one portion want enough for me. Got refill
Very authentic Japanese ramen , love the cosy private booths . Great for those late night guilt pleasures, always extra noodles . Late night or odd hours to avoid waiting otherwise could be a long wait !
This is hw I like my ramen : STRONG soup flav, MEDIUM oil richness, 1 CLOVE garlic , THICK green onion , NO pork , 3 TIMES Ichiran sauce & EXTRA FIRM noodle , top with egg .
Great for your late night noodle fix. good quality ramen . Not the very best, but if you need ramen at 3am where else are you going to go?
Been here a few times n always get their noodle and instant packs. They seem pricy for their kind, but it's worth a try. 24 hr is just a plus for the night owl.
Waited in a long line for only under an hour. Haven't been to a lot of ramen houses but I enormously enjoyed Ichiran! Order spicy with pork rounds and extra egg !
The hype has died down and long queue has disappeared, the ramin is up to the standard of the Japanese original. Portion is small so you may want to order extra noodles .
I would get medium flavour and medium oil . No less than firm. And spice would recommend putting to the side and adjusting as it can be overwhelming to the broth flavour
Popped up due to great taste memories since last visit to Ichiran Japan . Not bad at all but unparalleled to its hometown flavor. Keep it up Ichiran HK!
Great authentic place. If you are a european than you most likely don't need anything more spicy than level 3.
Really like the modular menu. Choose noodle firmness, spicyness, broth strength and addons exactly to your liking. Couldn't stand more than 4 (out of 20) on the heat scale. Also surprisingly pricey .
7am, Monday to Friday is the most quiet time when you can expect no queue. Soup and ramen is good, but the egg and spring onion are local so they weren't the best.
This is pretty much the best, most consistent Japanese ramen in hk and I've been to many.
If the ramen at this overseas outlet is already so good, I really wonder how awesome the one in Japan could be! ????
They means to make people wait. Noodle and soup is as good as it is in japan . Green onion is not as great. Service is hard to catch up with Japan when locals are used to serve.
As good as the one in Japan ! Don't be afraid to try the 2 or 3 level spice, it's not unbearable and adds a nice punch
Surprised when they actually offered me my personal flavour. It was exactly what I want. Definitely AWESOME!!!!
It is an interesting with Japanese culture of setting up individual space and the invisible service. Yet, the quality of the ramen is totally over-rated. The texture of the noodles is disappointing.
What's not to like about ichiran. Consistent quality, full of flavour. Sit in your own booth . My favourite ramen in hk
Get your ramen extra spicy ! And don't forget to add an egg (and an order of a refill on noodles )!
Ramen is on the level of Menya Mushashi, Santouka and the like. Be aware that there's a queue *in* the store too, so add that to whatever external queue you may see.
My preferred place in HK for ramen . Soup depth of flavour and you can get it to how your tastebuds want. Individual booths - fine for solo visits
Queue for about 30mins, every person eat at their own square like phone booth in the old time. Pricey & rude/unfriendly waiters
Quite small portions. But the soup is strong and full of flavour. With the chilli it taste really good! Be sure to order an extra serving of noodles !
Hands down the best ramen in town . Come during 3-6pm to avoid the never ending crowd. Otherwise expect to wait for half an hour or more.
Arrive before 11am. Worth the wait but it is a 2-3 hr lineup if you arrive after 11am. The ramen is pretty good!
Hard to say if it is the best ramen ever had. Feel like average level as compared to other less expensive ramen places .
Noodle texture is great. But I go for the strong flavors. Bit pricy with the extra portions.
The ramen quality is really good, but for $89 you get 2 slices of pork only. And I sat in a lonely box which felt like a library study. At this price there should be tea served, but you get only water
Fun concept. Individual booths . Order ramen , press the button, order refill :-)
super long line expect at least an hour. our fav ramen joint in Japan and still is in HK. it's open 24hrs by the way.
They basically only serve tonkatsu ramen . You can choose how you like your noodles and the add one. Real pricey for ramen even for Hong Kong.
By far the best ramen for me! Tried this first in japan and here in HK, it tastes the same. ????
Good ramen , but strange invisible -style service. Basically staff with no face (hidden behind counter) murmurs some Japanese and serve you with minimal interactions.
Was disappointed by the hype. I have had much better ramen and more filling in HK. There was nothing special about it. Everything like pork was extra cost otherwise it's just plain soup & noodles .
hahaha... is always fun here night or day
They will make you a new one if you're not happy with the noodle texture. My noodles we're stuck in a bunch and felt like eating dough . But they made me another one.
Great texture, many customisation options
Most authentic restaurant in HK ( in my opinion)????????
Must try their ramen ... Worth for expensive price
Waited for an hr to get a table... noodles are good but not quite worth the hype. Be prepared to get a noodle refill as the portions are quite small.
Awesome ramen and also 24/7
Make sure to have Kae-Dama (Noodle Refill ) for a better value of your money... (And time and effort for that 40 minute queue)
The actual noodles were very very average, but loved the fun sitting arrangements & the fact that it's 24 hours !!
Spicy medium ramen was fantastic, however the matcha beer was so so
Best ramen I have had in Hong Kong so far. Very crowded at lunch - be early. - Hakan Aldrin
THE mall of Causeway Bay area, all kind of exhibitions regularly arranged at the plaza or ground floor areas. Adequate variety of brandnames and shops, enough head space also make it a decent visit. - William Kan
Huge! Has everything. Great for all day shopping. You will find it all. - Kate Carlisle
Come here for the steamed milk and egg puddings -- not the service. Ginger, coffee, and chocolate steamed milk puddings are Hong Kong classics. Lightly sweet and delicious. Open late, takeaway avail. - Amy Graff
