Seated quick. Ordered quick. Food at table quick (like 5min). Then we never saw our waiter again until check time. Never checked in with us once. Good thing the happy hour margarita is good!
Food wasn't fab. But I think they can get away with it cause everything else was spot on. Margarita = Delicious! Chips and salsa = warm and perfect! Atmosphere = Fabulous!
For great Mexican in satx, avoiding the river walk is the best idea, as the river walk is pricey , full of people, and usually ok food. For river walk food this place was decent.
It was okay. Not something super impressive except their super sized portions. IT was so huge! My fiance and I split a entree (some fajita combo). We could not finish 2/3 of the meal.
Make sure to eat something BEFORE you drink all this!
Happy hour is good. They have mariachi band .
Eh, keep walking. No menu item we had was remarkable (actually even El Chico is better) We cringed when seeing the bill for complete disappointment. And the other comments are true- all "extras" cost.
Food was okish. Service sucked. Got orders wrong. Then they seemed put out that we wanted what we ordered. Shame on us. I'm not even sure the 60 oz margarita would have made it better. ????????
Don't be fooled by the location. The margaritas were delicious but the food was expensive & mediocre. Pigeons flying across the table while eating, Mariachi band charges $10 for requests... No bueno
The queso wasn't that great but the enchiladas verdes were very good
Enchiladas verdes is a big meal for 1. The wait staff was very nice & friendly to me. I enjoyed the meal.
Okay.this place is on the river . It's a tourist trap and the food is below average. It's expected. The 60 oz margarita was not very strong. I should have been drunk! But, it was a great for the parade
Got the Fiesta Margarita - BEST I've had!
Great ambiance. Margaritas were sub par at best. Stick to water or Beer
Very touristy but decent margaritas nice view
Happy hour weekdays only from 2-6 you can get the 10 dollar special which is a sweet deal
Be clear on what you order. . Overpriced Mexican food because it's next to the riverwalk
This is a tourist trap.....nothing more...
$10 happyhour. 2 traditional margaritas and an appetizer of queso , nachos and quesedillas
To the Sweet Life!
Beer was ice cold on a really nice afternoon!
Good food, great margarita , I'm stuffed!
The bathrooms are freezing! And don't order the Mexican martini ...
It's Mexican in a Mexican city . What you would expect.
Don't listen to the other tips!
This place was ok.... The drinks were dam expensive
60 oz. margarita ...nough said get it!
Try the 60oz Fiesta gold margarita . Absolute fun!
Cafe Ole has still got it. Fajitas and 'top shelf ' magarita are what to get!!!
Don't eat here. Really, if you are sitting at the table w/friends deciding what to order, you can either leave or pretend you're suddenly not hungry. Having a tv dinner @home is better than this.
Not homeade tortillas, can beans, chips were old and we were only given the bottom of the bowl. One of our parties wanted a bean and cheese burrito they said they didn't make them. What? They are a mexi
Casual Mexican food on the river walk .
Best Piña Coladas
They screw up simple orders. The seating on the patio is forced so you will get something spilled on you. Drinks are weak.
Love their tacos !
The service here is quite slow.
Great food and hot women!!!!
Unfortunately, I can get better food and 'Ritas in Wisconsin!
I wouldn't go back very nasty and blain
Maybe it was just a bad night
Very touristy . Service was 'ok'. I'm sure there are better places!
Mediocre at best!! Weak drinks, ok food, ok service. There has to be better in San Antonio!!
Casual Mexican food you can get anywhere.
One word: YUMMY! Even the chips and salsa . It's all delicious. A Tex-Mex lover's dream
Food was below average...over priced and service was slow! Not impressed and will not return.
I'm not sure how this was rated top anything!! If anything the food was sub-par, at best and it was very over priced!!
Amateur and a rip off...
18 for a margarita ???? No and no. Avoid this tourist trap!!!
waited over 30 min for our food...on a slow night. I'd hate to see how bad service is when they're busy...
Mediocre food, terrible service, worst margarita ever! With all the Riverwalk has to offer, don't waste your time on this one!
The street tacos and rice were amazing! The mariachi bands make a really cool atmosphere as well! - Kenzie Stewart
Rio Rio had me @ jalapeño marg! Server offered to make one when asked if they had something spicy. Appreciate the great service & that they have veg options - not easy to find on the Riverwalk. Love! - Tiffany Meinke
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Try George's special with chicken enchiladas???? - Edna H
Tours are great, fun, informative, and calming, but no pictures please! ;) - Lilith Eden
Love going to rainforest cafe there while we visit the river walk. - Kady Baumgartel
Large mall with many shops. Recently had an expansion and a lot more to explore! Love coming here - Monique Dumareille
