This property is one that I have looked forward to staying at for sometime and I can say that the room rate was spot on for the amenities in room and those on the property! I recommend to everyone!
Use the hotels Twitter feed and they will help your check-in process very smooth, they will confirm your type of room, confirm the room number and any other things you may need upon check-in
Amazing hotel with hi-tech modern rooms . Automated blackout blinds and views over Coit Tower and the Bay if you are on the higher floors. Beautiful bar and lobby - breakfasts are great too.
Continental breakfast includes fresh fruit and a good selection of pastries , bread and bagels , cereal and beverages. Scrambled eggs are good. Worth it for sure. At the Grand Club .
I stayed here for three nights thru New Year's Eve 2013. As you can see from the photo below, the bathroom sink makes a great ice bucket. Three champagne bottles fit comfortably. Drink responsibly.
Very cozy , the service very good! Location is great, easy to go around the city ! It's a great gym there in the 35 floor. Up in the 36 great view of the city ... Just had a great time there!
MarketingSherpa hosted our 2013 Lead Gen Summit here and would recommend it to others. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Joanna. Be sure to talk to them and ask them about the city !
Good location just by the Union Square. Free wifi . Cozy spaces . Complimentary pop-up food stands like popcorn & limonade. Nice rooms, convenient for business trips.
This properties Grand Club Lounge offers continental breakfast and light snacks during later hours, staffed with the best and knowledgeable employee and has great views from its windows
I made a last minute reservation , and everything was in order. The staff was excellent. The room was quiet and is excellent for a business guest. grand-hyatt-san-francisco.com - luxury hotel !
The Grand Club Room that is newly renovated was amazing and I had a perfect view of the city for my stay! I can imagine the Bay view which I will be having for my next stay!
As of 2017, the 36th floor is exclusively used for meetings. It is NOT accessible even by the hotel 's guests.
We usually stay at the Embarcadero Hyatt but this was a nice change. Design in the rooms is sleek and chic and very comfortable , and the restaurant is quite good.
Love the location, friendly staff . Especially 32F Grand club Ms. Anh was very friendly . Nearby Powell St. Station and Market street. Definitely center of SFO
The hotel can also setup your tickets for tourist attractions , like Alcatraz Island among others and you can also get restaurant recommendations and have reservations made for you
This hotel offers pre-arrival room upgrades for a discounted price as well as offering online check-in so that once you arrive you just show your ID and you get your room keys!
The hotel is really nice. The beds are super-comfortable. If you Abe a chance-go up to the 36th floor-the view is very spectacular!
Great location, Union Square and Chinatown few steps away. 36th floor the best view of SFO.
Very modern remodeled rooms. Check in was unusual.I didn't see an elite check in.Oh and make sure you get on the guest elevator and not the maintenance elevator(but I hope that they fix it it up also)
Friendly staffs . Recommend to take breakfast buffet and ask for that special omelette .
If you can, get access to the Grand Club on the 32nd floor: there is breakfast every morning and appetizers around dinner time, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day.
Excellent service and you'll have a view of Transamerica Pyramid and the city area
Spencer at check in is the absolute best. View is great, bed is comfy , staff is excellent, no reason to not stay here.
Complimentary wifi , great location. Super close to union square, shopping, Chinatown
Incredible views . Super modern rooms . Fast wifi . And a great location a block off Union Square.

The "Missing MUST-HAVES" complementary items is extensive and will save you a trip to the pharmacy .
The controls for the blackout blinds are by the bed.
Great hotel , perfect location, staff is very nice, free wifi is not good.
A great hotel with some great staff who want to help! Loved every day of our stay! Take your partner up to the lounge on 36!
Nice hotel at the heart of Union Square. Friendly , accommodating staff . Starbucks across the street. Amazing views . 24hr fitness center !
Check out the illuminated "striped" wood walls at the main escalator, engineered by GPI Design in conjunction with Acosta + Sons! Very unique, great photo op!
They offer free shoe shines . Call housekeeping and they pick up and return your shoes in 30 minutes.
centrally located and newly renovated rooms at reasonable prices (for SF)
OneUP restaurant opened up...very different from the grandviews on the 36th floor ! Hip , contemporary , cozy ...impressive!
Excellent mezzanine bar . Beautiful spot to watch a game.
If you're planning to use the hotels wifi be sure you're ready to pay a nominal fee if using it in your room, wifi in public areas is free but not as fast as the paid wifi services
Fantastic continental breakfast . Everything is super fresh and beautifully prepared.
Rooms are noisy you can hear all the sounds from the street. Hotel has been remodeled nicely. Great location.
Excellent location if you are looking to stay in union square. Also opt for the self park when you pull up. Its about 20.00 dollars cheaper.
Small selection of food. Decent selection of drinks. Nice view of Coit tower . David is the best!
This place is great and the hotel staff is gracious and just lovely!
The remodel of the rooms look great! Comfy beds . Check out the roof top lounge for sure!
Nice enough. The bar was well appointed. Wish the snack bar stayed open all day.
Great location. You can walking around Union Square after dinner . Rooms are okay.
If bathroom privacy is something that is important to you, this hotel may not be what you're looking for. A shaded glass slider is what covers the door...and you can't lock it or keep it closed.
diamond upgrades are garbage. "renovated rooms " and executive suites are fair at best. Not on par with most Hyatt's. Service is sub par, though there are a few great team members. Just have to find em
You can enjoy morning sandwich at lobby floor. Delicious and not salty!!!
Pro-tip: Don’t buy overpriced water. Fill up your water bottle for free in the gym on the 35th floor.
get familiar with the concierge - they can give you advice - get tickets - very connected
Pork belly and pork adobo melt in your mouth. The seafood bake was a generous portion of shrimp, scallops and sausage all done to perfection!! These are all part of the summer menu come try it! - Maria C
