Grab a bucket of balls to kill a couple hours! They also offer lessons and simulators. Fantastic facility with views of the Hudson river and Jersey.
Definitely don't be shy about asking for lessons and meeting the staff here, they're great! Off peak hours will save you a but too, especially weekdays in the winter.
The range faces the west and because of the setting sun, it is impossible to see where you are hitting the ball in the late afternoon. Best times to practice are morning, early afternoon, and night.
To avoid any lines , go at night, they're open till 11pm in the winter and midnight the rest of the year. They have heaters in all of the stalls so don't worry if it's a little cold.
Weekends tend to be extremely busy and tough to enjoy. I try and go on weeknights right after work. For my fellow lefties, use the second floor and last booth to the right.
Split a set of golfballs and go to an irons floor (top level). It's fun to hit into the water and it's a quick enough activity that you can bring out-of-towners for visit & they get a story.
Amazing Hudson River view and great facilities. Best driving range . Definitely worth the money.
Whenever Andrew Konomanyi visits a new country as part of a business tour or during a vacation, he likes to be informed about the region’s golf life.

Best driving range in the city . Come during non peak hours if you can.
Come at off peak hours to get a better deal. You can also share a bucket among a few people so get golfing already!
Hit downstairs (first level) so you can smack your driver and woods
Really fancy range - automatic dispensing golf balls and adjustable tee heights. Expensive during peak hours and often a wait. Fun regardless
Check on off-peak hours. You get better ban for your buck. Pretty crowded on Saturday at 5-6pm. They said the wait was about 90mins but put your name down and the wait might be shorter.
Citybeams says, "Check out the Chelsea Piers for Golf in the city . Your closest course after that will probably be either upstate, Long Island , new Jersey, or Connecticut."
Ask for a stall on the third floor. If there's no lessons going on, they'll squeeze you in. Get an extra 20 yards on your drive!
This is a great place to go and relax and blow off some steam, and it's open year-round.
Not as high-tech as Top Golf , but still a cool local activity.
Head up to the 2nd floor. It's the right balance of giving you a perspective to see how far you hit, while not being so high up to give you too much of an advantage.
Bring a putter for the practice green while you wait for a stall
Don’t forget to do your rotator cuff exercises - hold a light hand weight and externally rotate the forearm to the side. This will keep your shoulders strong and injury-free.
Perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon... Smash those balls away.
Sometimes I think I come here as an excuse to grab some eats at Chelsea Market . Non peak hours the way to go. Fewer people, more quiet , cheaper.
Super relaxing. Great place.
Love training here all year round because it’s heated.
"Fore!" is shouted as a warning during a golf game when it appears possible that a golf ball may hit other players or spectators...
Disappointed with the Friday night swing . They must have overbooked. Thank God a couple asked me to join their bay . Also there were not enough pros to help, thought it would be a good way to scout
Love the automating ball placement.
Regardless of your swing , we trust you'll enjoy the photo opportunities . Read more
Never a wait to practice irons only on top level. Better for you game as well

If you're here at night, you won't ever lose sight of your ball against the night sky and the lit up range.
For this kind of money I expect well manicured grass, Titleist balls, all the amenities of a well run club , but hey, it's *in* Manhattan. Could have more realistic fake grass though.
Had to wait an hour but great way to spend the morning.
Nice way to spend a sunny Sunday after facing the hudson sunset

Doesn't matter too much if it's busy because you can wait at the brewing co next door..
