BYOB , authentic , canteen style Vietnamese. So much nicer than the trendy ones popping up on kingsland rd. Salt and pepper squid is superb, and they give you huge servings of herbs.
Super quick service , food comes out about five minutes after ordering. Always rammed and incredibly hot - don't come here wearing a massive jumper! Great food at very affordable prices .
The prices have gone up over the years but it's still the only place where you can get my favourite Vietnamese dish—com tam suon bi cha, grilled pork chop with shredded pork skin and pork egg custard !
Great Vietnamese food , byob , well priced, very tasty! A firm favourite
The steamed sea bass with black bean sauce , vermicelli and black fungus is amazing! Don't let the name scare you. I would definitely go back for more.
They have banh cuon ! Not many Vietnames restaurants serve it, it's very tasty!
One of my personal favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Shoreditch . Be sure to order summer rolls .
Hot and spicy pho (pronounced far?) is a good shout. Along with spicy squid , make sure the bring the dipping sauce . Cheap as chips and fast service , also BYO . My fav on the road .
The banh xeo is ????????
Really quick service being your own booze, good size portions and well priced.
Rare beef pho bo is devine. The beef soup is incredibly rich and fragrant.
Cheap cafe in Shoreditch . For lunch they have a lot of good main meals for a fiver. Also BYO so you can grab a beer in a nearby shop.
The Singapore stir fry (meat based) is good. Shame as I originally ordered a takeout tofu rice noodle stir fry & didn't see the restaurant 's mistake till it was too late. Double check your orders!!
Number 89 Bun thit Nuong noodles . You can't go wrong, seriously.
Good vegan options , lots of tofu on the menu
Taste is ok (I mean the beef noodles - pho ) but the portion of beef given gets a bit smaller and the price seems to have gone up quite a bit compared to a couple of years ago.
The sweet catfish is just weird but my friend's fav. What can I say...
Ordered the spicy squid and spicy crab . Both came with too much (raw) onion and not enough spice or chilli/garlic. The squid was quite chewy and the crab soggy and not as fresh as one would like.
Always starting with summer rolls & papaya salad !
Try the frog legs very tasty!????
Get the chicken pho - you won't be left disappointed!
Enjoyed my meal there, scallops and beef with tamarind sauce - and you can bring your own bottle!very nice!
Get the aubergine starter. Unexpected delight!
BYOB and great Vietnamese
So far my FAV viet in London
Try number 15 as a starter. Spicy squid !!!
You'll kick yourself for not ordering the banh cuon .
Viet spring rolls !
Crowded in the evenings, food is alright, too sweet for me because it's Southern food
Eat and eat and eat! Seriously, the food is amazing, stuff your face and enjoy!
Mixed crunchy salad with chicken - yummmmmmy
Bring cash!
No cards take cash. But good thing is its byob
Get the beef wrapped in betal leaves and work out what to do with all the various bits it comes with. Hilarious.
Try out Hu Tieu (the water one!) ;)
Awful pricey bad quality food, terrible service. Don't forget to take your bottle of wine with you cause we forgot it and a minute later it was magically disappeared.
CASH ONLY massive ATM queue. Avoid.
Good food lame service.
Disappointed to see that in the space of a year the price of a Pho has gone from £6.50 to £9.50.
Average Pho . Could have a better one around the corner.
It's cheap and they do accept cards - they are lying if they say the machine isn't working!
Wear no trousers.
Frogs legs taste like a really cheap chicken satay . Avoid!
Inconsistent. NEXT.
WORST FOOD ON THE ROAD , this place is disgusting.
