San Diego Model Railroad Museum

An interesting place to stop and look at Southern California dioramas. Be sure to check out the model of the Tehachapi Loop on the upper level of the railroad.

San Diego’s model railroading clubs put together this expansive set of O-scale, HO-scale, N-scale, and toy layouts depicting Southern California locales.

Great train models and an upstairs play area will keep your kids entertained for hours.

This place was a wonderful hidden find. Spent much more time here than the museum above it.

This is incredible. Not one model railroad, but 4 large model railroads in different sizes.

Be sure to check out the model of Balboa Park in the year 1915
