such a nice place to visit very informative especially for the teenager students,for them this is a perfect place to go. I have visited many museums and that is one of the best.really wish to go again

Pretty fun place to go. Definitely take advantage of the Free Tuesday appreciation for SD residents/active military . Lots to learn! And the movies are usually narrated by someone famous

The Nat offers exhibitions including Unshelved: Cool Stuff from Storage where you can discover a world of specimens on display from their storage collection. Admission also includes the 3D theater !

Awesome museum ! Love all the exhibits and dinosaurs . Free for December nights!

During spring and summer, take a short walk across the little bridge over the road to enjoy the nearby rose garden . Free!

The temporary whale exhibit was beautiful, loved all the photography as well

The Mayan exhibition ends Dec 31, 2015. It is one of the most interesting of its kind.

Come early to avoid some of the crowds and plan on spending a few hours here.

The 1st Tuesday of each month is FREE for residents of San Diego County , as well as active military + their dependents. Be sure to bring photo ID.

Did you know you can go on whale watching cruises with captains and naturalists trained by the SD Natural History Museum ? Pretty fun!

Check out the Mammoth and Mastadon exhibit ! It's great and fun.

I'm from out of town & bought a ticket to escape a rainy day. I really wasn't impressed. If you have kids, they will probably like it, but it's not very adult-oriented at all.

See the 3d shark movie and learn about numerous endangered species of shark.

Dinosaurs . Mammoths. Giant cats. What more is there to say?

The new chocolate exhibit actually smells like chocolate !!

Buy tickets online and avoid the line . Sad they don't have a good mobile site.

Cool museum in balboa park

Not as exciting as I hoped. I recommend for little children. The movie on bugs is really educational .
