Loveland is a great area for beginners, but also has great runs for experienced skiers and boarders too! Just make sure to get there early if you're going to rent equipment because they're super busy.
Highly underrated. I bet it's a local secret that's been carefully guarded , only for some pissant Minnesotan to write a tip on the Internet. Best value per run at $49, of which there're dozens.
Adults lift tickets are $75, kids' are $32. On a Friday, it was far from deserted , but it wasn't overcrowded. The slopes were a bit faster and steeper than equivalently rated slopes at Snowy Range.
I've been skiing here since I was a baby and have never wanted to go somewhere else. Best place to ski and enjoy beautiful scenery .
Great value ! Awesome variety of runs to keep everyone challenged and only $61 for a day pass?! What a deal! Plus, we stumbled upon a scavenger hunt being put on by New Belgium. Awesome!
The best place to ski in Colorado is you want to hang with the locals. Pack a lunch and be sure to order a Blood Mary at the end of the day!
Pack your lunch in a pack and eat at warming hut at the top. Better yet, pack a burrito in foil and use the wood burning stove to heat it up. Beers are more expensive but there are no moms and kids.
Great place to ski . Not a resort and the lodge is kind of small for the crowds that are starting to build as the word spreads about the value.
If you're looking for a quiet ski area to get away and not have to worry about tourists getting in your way this is the place to go.
A good value , and ski patrol is great if you end up having to talk to them due to overestimated skills :).
Some great skiing - nothing fancy just a lot of good turns. One of my favorite ski areas .
Nice wide open slopes , and knowledgeable instructors . Juana was awesome!!!
Loveland Pass Backcountry. Forget everything else hitch a free ride to the top of the pass and it's yours. No kids, families or newbs
Such a great area. Lots of space and variety without the Vail price tag.
Get there early for parking on weekends, get the Loveland pass every 5th time is free
Come early and eat breakfast upstairs-miss the traffic and start your day right
Wonderful trails and good amount of snow, even in this drought!
Just get there early and there won't be a lot of people so you can get off to a quick start.
Close to Denver, Golden, and Boulder. Great resort and terrian for sure
Folks at the ski shop are most helpful in solving my digging lens problems
Great snow already in early Nov!
Nice cheap place to ski . Steep.
Fabulous for snowboarding . A lot of wide open runs....
Polarized tints for your eyeglasses work much better than transitions in cold weather
Best place to ski in Denver
If you are a newbie park @ the Valley instead of the Basin - avoid using the shuttle & the majority of the easy slopes are at the Valley.
Great closing day, Thanks to Dustin!
Lodges , skiing , lift
If your looking for an overpriced resort filled with tourist and expensive entertainment, go somewhere else. If your a local or want to shred with the locals, this is your place.
Free parking ,
Watch out for the black ice on Loveland Pass .
Take lift 1 up and then get on midway at 2 to make your way over to other lifts rather than 2 to the top.
Chair 9 is epic when its open....must try!
Skiing is great exercise!!
Lift 9 goes way up the mountain and leads to some long, ungroomed runs.
Chair number 9. Wow.
Best I-70 skiing .
sometimes you've got to make sacrifices to get the pow.
Shred that pow all season!
Lacking the attractive people you will find at other ski areas .
Why would you waste your time here when keystone is 20 minutes away?
hit up the build your own bloody Mary bar at the wedge
Steve D is my biatch!
Best bang for your buck in Colorado!
Just like at Hunter, lock up your boards for piece of mind. - Erik
Great ski spot as long as you're not a beginner. Check out Montezuma Bowl if that part of the mountain is open! - Graham Geiselman
Spend your day hiking one of the 14,000 ft. peaks in the area! - Scot Chisholm
Bacon was non existent in my potatoe bacon soup...that's twice this place did this to me. The soup guy was grumpy AF.. - Jeff Simonis
