Our first cafe opened in 1996 on Irving Place in the garden level of a historic Gramercy brownstone. From our beginnings as 52 Irving Coffee & Tea Bar to the beautiful space just up the block that we know now as our 71 Irving Place cafe, this is truly where Irving Farm all began...

Crowded yet cozy neighborhood coffee shop that has great iced-coffee, delicious desserts and a dazzling array of sandwiches – the Chicken Salad is fantastic. Be prepared to wait for your order.
Only place I know in Manhattan where you can get a truly great cup of coffee AND a decent bagel . In NYC that combo shouldn't be so rare.
House coffee is a winner at 2 Irving Farm purveyors. IF's Grammercy house is a fruity , woody Blue Batak Sumatran. IF's lively Capucas Honduras is on tap at New Museum 's Birdbath, the best in 3 visits.
Classy espresso bar tucked away in a cozy stretch in NYC. Hit up the Friendly Farmer for lunch and then finish off here with your fave espresso drink . All are made with care.
Great cappuccinos with very smooth espresso . Surprisingly good lox bagel sandwich ; get the works.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Gramercy. Both their coffee and dessert are excellent. It has a nice neighborhood charm and their service is quick. Try the caramel chocolate brownie .
Great local coffee place, lots of seating incl some outside, pastries from excellent bakeries incl Balthazar and other local ones. Good soy latte $4 and the line even tho long, moves quickly
Get a vanilla iced latte . Plenty of seating here but it tends to get crowded . Try to get seats outside if possible.
Best chai in the city no doubt. But no wifi , Pumpkin milk and soy - no almond or macadamia mil. they also recently took away the cinnamon . :( been coming here for years but please give back cinnamon
I was a bit skeptical because of the high prices and hipster vibe , but the pressed sandwiches here are tasty! The Gramercy Pork ($12.75) has a nice spicy kick to it. It contains VT cured ham & cheese .
The cortado lacked dimension, and oddly fell flat on its bitter face. Surprising, since their lattes and cappuccinos are always excellent, and I imagine those are made with the same espresso .
This neighborhood gem is steps from Union Square and features ample seating and delicious snacks , both savory and sweet, to pair with some fresh espresso . Read more
The pop tarts are light and airy and the topping of icing is of a perfect consistency. Have one of the cinnamon and sugar variety with a double espresso .
I had black coffee to stay and it was a great cup. The staff was helpful but did not seem to have that small coffee shop charm and special delight. I'll return for the coffee .
Great Coffee and staff . I love that you can stay here for hours, have great coffee , a yummy treat and even a glass of prosecco !
Can get pretty busy, but hard to beat the vibe, their coffee , their bagels and their amazing pastry selection . I could spend an entire day in here.
Best coffee in this neighborhood and incredible baked goods (including gluten free ). The staff are super disgruntled, grumpy and flat out rude though, even for New York standards.
Really great assortment of pastries to enjoy with a cup of coffee or their homemade chai .
For non-dairy people, they offer almond , soy and a new pumpkin seed milk +50c. Skip the latter as it overpowers the coffee and does not blend with it. Regular Cappuccino $4.25. Seating in and outdoor
This little outpost roasts its own coffee at an upstate farm . Though a tight squeeze, the rich, soothing Cuban cortadito (espresso with steamed milk , served in a shot glass) is worth the trouble.
I go out of my way for this coffee . The scallion cheddar biscuit is one of my top NYC comfort foods . (Add tomato and egg !)
Generally great service and solid coffee . Splurge on their baked goods and treat yo self!
Coffee , pecan bar is hidden under the counter, my favorite baked good here. Generally baked goods are not a good flavor or value here. Very good coffee .
if you're here, you either work in tech or are currently interviewing to work in tech. get a perfectly made latte to go with a perfectly made sandwich from Bedford next door.
Bagel and lox are done right...good red eye and a rotating selection of draft beer (2 taps). What's not to like?
Oh yea this place has great coffee and yummy nosh . The coffee comes from the Iriving Farm 90 miles outside of New York, so it's local baby! This spot is also cozy and known for being a pick up joint.
These guys know how to make a latte ! Order one in a mug and enjoy the art . I love that I get the exact same latte at each Irving Farm café .
Super friendly environment , bc someone else took my coffee by mistake, got a free drink tkt. Full satisfaction !
Charming little Cafe at the heart of Grammercy. Try the delish Chai latte , and the Gluten free Olive Oil bread , so moist and yummy.
The pour over looks pricey at $4.25 but is actually a lot of coffee . Get it. They also have an awesome selection of Irving beans.
The pop tarts by Magpie that they're selling now are delicious! Just the right ratio of filling, pastry , and icing. Not to mention great flavor.
LOVE this place, but too crowded on the weekends. Get a Bathalzar croissant and a large latte to boot. No wi-fi.
Atomsphere is dark, but just enough to be cozy-Fills up quickly, but the line moves fast. Amazing coffee , vastly better than the other locations.
Not really a fan of their iced coffee (it's not cold brew ), but their beans make fantastic cold brew for those that are up for making it at home!
Cozy subterranean cafe . No WiFi , but it's nice place to get some offline work done. Home made Chai is nice.
Cozy coffee spot in Gramercy. Crowded but worth the wait for quality coffee
The iced Mocha with soy was on point! Just sweet enough. :) Cute place, just wish they had more seating. It's pretty popular.
Cramped interior. The iced pourovers at the Upper West Side location are much better and you have a variety of blends to choose from!
Great coffee and hot. Chocolate . Brownies and pastries are delicious too. Try peanut butter and chocolate brownie .
Excellent coffee and a great selection of baked products. Table space to enjoy a coffee to stay.
Beautiful location, great service and amazing coffee . Just note, it gets very crowded !
Great coffee but also don't miss the delish lunchtime sandwiches ????
Farm fresh Cortada and a homemade strawberry poptart . and punk music .
The caramel syrup for the pumpkin pancakes is a must try! Porridge fabulous too. Wonderful kind service !
The place is usually very crowded . But cappuccino is amazing as well as choice of sandwiches .
Super cozy and yummy iced coffee . Very popular for casual meetings and doing work.
Great coffee and bagels - top notch neighborhood breakfast spot
Seat outside is great. Small coffee shop that's always crowded . Very good coffee .
Lively , cosy, buzzy place and great coffee
The turkey, Brie and pear sandwich is delicious. Toasted to perfection and with fries - heaven! - Paul T.
The avacado toast with an egg is pricey, but worth it. Super great place. - Sarah P
Great at all hours of the day. Breakfast burrito, cobb salad, afternoon Magic Hat - all excellent! - jared zlotnick
Excellent breakfast! The French press coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is too cute - Brittany Beisner
Big park! Free Wi-Fi. Perfect for date nights, nice view also. - ImSo_Brooklyn
My favorite place ever! Friday afternoon is a great time to go. Not as crazy crowded and the produce is super fresh. - Kristin Booker
