One of the greatest restaurants I've ever been to! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, the portions were reasonable, and I had an overall great time!
The menu includes things like artichoke dip , flatbreads , a Maryland lump crab cake , a lobster Cobb salad , buttermilk fried chicken , and a "Chester burger " made with a Pat LaFrieda patty.
Oysters and Steak Tartare are both great starters. The buttermilk fried chicken is a great comfort food option, the black pepper biscuits should come by the basket!
The Bitches say: B. The Chester offered a reliable, elevated bar brunch in a fun beer garden space with the promise of a party for later brunchgoers. Read more
The pink lemonade cocktail is great! The muscles are a large serving and each one is big too!
Beef sliders are amazing. Right around the corner from 3 rooftop bars including the Gansevoort!
Some of the cocktails that sounded most appealing in the descriptions turned out to be extremely sweet, e.g. Cinnamon Hot Toddy , and Astor Martini .
Not a bad spot to grab drinks prior to dinner . Outdoor and indoor bar options, but be prepared to part with that $. Somehow dropped +$80 on 4 drinks; my entire dinner at Santina ended up costing less.
Something worth seeing! Brand new! Beautiful! Modern but with a rustic feel ! Love, love, love!
Service is friendly , but they take a while to place your order and to actually bring out the food. Best to go when you have no other plans afterwards.
Cozy intimate decor. Try The Cobblestone. Yum!

Great bartenders ! The entrees are huge so split if you want appetizers as well .
The banana buttermilk pancakes are amazing!
In case they don't tell you, the outside Biergarten has a limited menu. Still a great vibe though!
Dark and stormy drink: Captain Morgan, lime and ginger bear
The wait staff is lovely, and the biscuits with fried chicken are amazing.
Cool atmosphere and decent apps, worth a happy hour trip
Good spot for hangout
Sit at the bar ! Great service and cocktails ! Tables are so lame !
Cocktails were very good. 4 drinks will run you $75.
It was quiet , we had appetizers and drinks which were fine. Nothing to write home about, but also a good place to catch up with friends.
The candied bacon is to die for.. Must get!
avocado bruschetta // stylecaster
Amazing wallpaper. Amazing cocktails .
They conveniently kicked us off the patio for having a dog after we paid our bill ...
Great service! Friendly staff !
The food here is great! Service not so much. Be prepared to wait at least 30-45 min for food to show up on your table.
Jalapeño waffle fries are not very jalapeño-ey, but they are well done otherwise.
Fun after work spot for drinks with colleagues
Always a fun spot.
Old fashioned master drink makers
Amazing atmosphere
Kitchen is way way too slow. Took over 30 minutes to get oysters . Wait staff and manager mean well and try to be helpful. But they can't get the food on the table. Don't come here if you are hungry.
Fried chicken is tasty.
Watch out for the terribly over priced drinks at the bar . 1 Tullimore Dew 1 oz was $20. Wow, I could've bought an entire bottle for that price.
Some restaurants are must- dos, this is a must DON'T! Pricy and terrible food, and crazy slow service.
Try bloody mary ! ????????
Get the deviled eggs .
Service, food
Candied bacon is an actual gamechanger.
$13 for a terrible pint of Stella? Couldn’t be more stereotypically awful meatpacking. Next time I’m waiting for an event around here I’ll get a water.
Service was extremely slow during brunch despite not being busy. However management was flexible on the absurdity of it and gave a discount
Good outdoor seating area , food’s below average.
Good looking ,but no taste AT ALL
Fine for outdoor seating , overpriced beer .
If you're there and it's dead, you better sit at the bar , otherwise the service sucks.
Don't walk down dark alleys
american, new, yelp email
Mediocre pasta and risotto at ridiculous prices. Calamari was good but don't come here for the food
Wonderful spot to enjoy brunch with plenty of sharable plates. You MUST order the tater tots and the pistachio morning bun. - Julie Soscia
Coconut shrimp roll is so good .. the spinach dip is delicious .. hillstone burger for a main course ???? - SMA
The chicken & trout are wonderfully portioned and tasty! The mushroom gratin is great! For dessert, get the butterscotch banana pudding pie. It is heavenly ???? - Roniel Tessler
Extraordinary seafood in meat packing district. Must try the hamachi appetizer... it's to die for. - Angela
Love this place! Great laid back spot to meet friends for beers. - Tammy Gordon
