Great BYO place (S-Th). Kassulet was seriously good but filling so if you plan on ordering, go easy on the bread (which is meh). Duck breast was excellent too and goat cheese tart and escargot were ++
Goat cheese tart and hanger steak . Amazing. Cannot go wrong with this romantic resto. Also big plus is BYOB where you can order delivery from a wine list the restaurant provides. Cash only !
Omg their filet w/ foie gras spread on top is absolutely amazing. mallard duck is very flavorful how duck should b prepared. Slightly overpriced for the service & atmosphere but food is well worth it
Fantastic wine list , panzotti, tonnarelli neri, raviolis and short rib carpaccio ! Outdoor seating is also lovely
everything was wonderful. had mussels with mustard sauce . french onion soup . hanger steak . filet. which I recommend all. except the seafood pie thing. which I dont remember what it was called.
The cassoulet is amazing but has so many calories it is best eaten before intense physical activity. It was originally a meal intended to last a soldier all day.
Didier , the owner, is a sweet French man. The restaurant seats 48 & is the epitome of intimate . Food is delish and it's BYOB . The escargots & filet w/foie gras are UNREAL. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Best time to dine is definitely after 9. Beat the crowd and enjoy the sweet ambiance of low lighting , some window seats , and a fantastic playlist. This place is a gem.
Kassulet is awesome. Duck confit , slab of bacon , pork sausage braised in duck fat . Truffle gnocchi is addicting.
One of The Best french restaurants I have tried. The classics: escargots , fillet mignon ,, and duck with and incredible goat cheese tart !
Very charming spot with excellent service and a warm and engaging host. Great food, foie Gras and vegetables stand out
This place has got be eating duck . Cherry duck out of this world. Hangar steak is not bad either. Staff is super nice. I walked in but heard you need RSVP. Bring cash - BYOB but they gave me free wine
The pureed veggie they give you is so good. Also the filter mignon with foie gras is super flavorful and rich. Great that it's byob .
The portions are huge. Three of us shared a goat cheese tart an appetizer and a Tarte Tain for dessert . Both exceptional.
Fantastic BYOB experience. Food was delicious, service was perfection. Met chef-owner Didier on the way in - what a charming man! Don't forget to make reservations and bring cash.
This place made me like French food . Amazingly written menu. Hanger steak and goat cheese tarte were delicious.
While this French bistro is no longer BYOB , they now take AmEx. Make a reservation in advance and bring your appetite, especially when tackling the Kassoulet.
BYOB (no corkage fee ), cash only . Get the curry mussels and the Tournedos Rossini (filet mignon topped with foie gras ). So delicious!
Ramen is very good, especially the spicy one. Ask for no mayo on the pork buns .
French onion soup , sautéed baby octopus , all the veggie sides, this filet mignon with foie gras .. all incredible!
Please, please order the curry mussels . The mussels are fresh and they're basked in this rich, cream, flavorful broth (almost a curry sauce ). Other favs: beet salad , goat tart and profiteroles
The escargots and foir gras upon hanger steak were amazing
Profiteroles = amazing! Like puffy clouds filled with heavenly cream.
Great food that won't kill your wallet. BYOB with no corking fee and great service. Will DEFINITELY come back.
Make reservations at this tiny and delicious modern French bistro . Enjoy BYOB with no cork fee and try the Tournedos Rossini . Cash only .
Escargot is amazing even for less adventurous types. Lovely food, small restaurant , great for a fun night
Best restaurant week I've ever done here. The truffle ravioli was spot on.
BYOB but there's no wine shops in the hood. Ask for the wine list from the place that delivers : 212-229-2409
Good food, solid neighborhood spot , and can pretty much always get a table.
Duck is amazing, as is puréed veggies , who knew baby food could taste so good?
Quaint, delightful, delicious. Our waitress was an exact replica of Amelie. How much more French can you get than that?
Must try dishes: Goat cheese tart , roasted escargot . The French onion soup is pretty darn good too.
Filet w foie gras , hangar steak , escargot--all phenomenal. Profiteroles--amazing. BYOB was just icing on cake .

The Kassulet (cassoulet ) is wonderful, and you won't be hungry again till breakfast—or lunch .
Try the Tournedos Rossini - Filet mignon topped with foie gras ! Plus the side vegetables are unlimited. SO DAMN GOOD.
Goat cheese tart & the truffle fondue are the way to go w 4 sides.
They accept bitcoin.
Rack of lamb was finger licking good
Food was great… after I had to send it back to the kitchen because the waiter had given the opposite order from what I’d asked for. And essentially no cards taken but all the crypto currencies? Weird.
Fillet minion with fois gras , warm chocolate cake
Goat Cheese Tart & Moules Vignerones (dinner portion - trust me, if you get the appetizer portion like we did, you'll be sorry!) are to die for!
Goat cheese tart is delicious. Duck and lamb leg is also amazing with their signature sauces.
tender escargots , excellent hanger steak , and comforting cassoulet
Wow. Foie on top of filet?! Curried mussels ? Sweet succulent duck ? Love love love this place!! Please go. And expect a mega calorific meal :)
Recommended by our concierge William at Smyth. BYOB with no corkage fees and totally down-to-earth French cuisine . A pleasant experience.
No longer a BYOB . Now charges a $20 corkage fee .....The duck is amazing!
BYOB is awesome, but this place is a cant miss in NYC.
