Skip the pre-made stuff sitting on the steam table and head down to the made-to-order station. Churrasco beef , arroz Moro, fried plantains ... All very good. They even have maté soda !
Some of the best airport food ever. Great Cuban staples, the chicken , Arroz Moro and plantains hit the spot. If you've got time in MIA and are hungry, come here. They also serve beer & wine .
The staff here are really helpful! I was struggling with my bags and tray, and a member of the staff saw me and offered to carry my tray. Then someone brought me toothpicks. Great people!
Individual à la carte orders from menu are very big, you can definitely split one by two people and feel very satisfied. The food here isn't spectacular, but is better than you get on the airplane.
Spectacular beef empanadas ! Honestly the best thing I've ever eaten in an airport and easy to eat on the run. Grab a Presidente to wash it down.
This was a MEAL for $11.51! Best and most affordable airport meal I've ever had with the exception of the Pappadeaux's buffet at IAH
Home-style Latin American comfort food out of an airport terminal . It doesn’t get any better than this, traveling ladies & gentlemen.
This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant at any airport in the country . When I have a choice, I will fly through MIA just to be able to eat here. Excellent food, prices, and service!
A true taste of Miami to get you ready for your next flight. Whether you want a cafecito and dessert , or a medianoche and Iron Beer , La Carrey’s has you covered.
Mostly Cubans working here -you’re getting the most authentic experience possible. But some items are SO overpriced. Tres les is $4 and so are black beans . C’mon. The bus people are great, tip them.
I suggest u eat in this place before boarding and bring some to-go for long flights. Food is awesome. Yellow rice plus chicken and plantains . Finnito!!!
I was wanting a burger , but my wife got the better deal. Huge platter of arroz , frijoles , Pollo , and plantanos for $10. (Fortunately for me, she couldn't finish it so I got the rest!!!)
I think I have written this review many times, but every time I come here I love it. The food is superb. Tops vieja w rice and a small bowl of black bean soup . Excellent! Service is great.
Cut the whole buffet line and go straight to the end to order some delicious palomilla with white rice and frijoles . The vaca frita is good also. But whatever you choose, have the black beans .
The menu here is packed with croquetas , biztec empanizados, and a flan that has been called one of the best in the 305. Read more
OMG!!! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! Ask for eggs , ham and cheese on a crossaint! And a cafe con leche of course! #nomnom
The best restaurant on the MIA airport hands down! Cuban sandwiches are outstanding. Remember to speak in Spanish with everyone :).
Roaches and mold! Good until I saw the bug crawling too close to the food. And be careful of the fridge section. They leave that stuff there for days, found some cheesecake with mold on it! Ick!
I love the Cuban sandwich . Service is amazing, a true Cuban experience. I never miss the opportunity to come here when in MIA.
All the airport employees and pilots stop here so you know it’s decent. Best airport food prices EVER.
Tables are not waited, you have to get on line . Palomilla steak in the "a la carte" menu is worth the wait
Roast chicken is served with two side dishes. Plate is big, taste is delicious and price is good! I recommend if u r in the airport .
Rock solid food. Fills you well and gets you on your way. Watch the crowd for all the airport workers eating there—yep, right spot.
Stop at the Empanada stand for a good cheap quick bite on the go. They are really good.
The Vaca fritas / fried yucca is amazing with their perfectly seasoned aioli sauce or with ketchup (for hard heads). One side you MUST try!
Easily the best breakfast and best prices in the airport . Go for the steak and egg combo and you won't be disappointed.
Try anything with the Habanero sauce they put out on the table. It is good on everything from plantains to rice .
If you're flying south from the eastern United States , chances are you'll transfer at Miami International Airport , and you'll be hungry when you do. Thank goodness, then, for La Carreta. Read more
Churrasco (skirt steak ) cooked medium rare with sweet plaintains and Moros rice ! Yum :) airport recommendation by my Miami-based coworker.
oh wow. Tastes just like if someone cooked it at home. Lots of coices. Priced just right too. I wish we had one in my neighborhood
great for rushed travelers. Self-service, real food. Fish was great. Staff is attentive and friendly
I get my plantain fix here when traveling out of MIA. They have 3 different kinds!
Seriously nourishing food. Plenty of vegetarian options . Fish soup is hearty and healing. Good for what ails you. Plus GOOD cuban coffee !
Best prices I've seen at an airport . The french toast and egg and cheese sandwich were delicious.
Been eating at this place for years- it's a Xmas tradition! Great food and a great place to people watch .
This is the best restaurant by far in the D terminal. Cuban food to perfection.
Can get really expensive , mind what you're getting to avoid being overcharged. I paid $20.49 for a simple continental breakfast with coffee . The service was great, tough.
Double-check your order before leaving. They mixed up my food w/someone else’s and I left w/the wrong to-go bag
Grab the pork and yellow rice , with a side of plantains before your flight. It's good quality and quantity for $8.
Pretty good for airport food and better than the same old airport fast food .
This is the place to go to at the Miami airport when you're there for a layover.
Wow.. great food. Empanadas a must, and Cuban coffee !!!
Try the guava pastry . Flaky, sweet, and a little tangy . Don't forget to grab some napkins if you're on-the-go!
Probably your best bet for food in MIA Airport . Quick service , edible food, good prices
Get to the airport early and have a delicious Cuban sandwich before your flight!
Cafe con leche is a must and is prepared with the perfect amount of sugar. Also spinach & cheese empanadas was surprisingly light.
huge sizes, u could have one for two if not starving!!!
Fish soup Friday! Healthy hearty and delicious! You WILL be fulfilled.
The Cuban sandwiches are amazing so perfect to eat!!!
Cafe con leche of course! Bread and egss is good for breakfast !
