Really nice pub , great selection of beers and wines , laid back atmosphere - music not too loud so you can talk, perfect place to stop off before dinner in town
Wheelchair-accessible including toilet , though getting attention at the bar isn't easy & you've cobbles to bump over to get to the pub itself.
If the crab claws are one of the specials get them. They are delicious

Nice spread of cask beers but a bit expensive . Got the burger which was large but not freshly made .

They have a classical pianist here on a Sunday now. He's very good and everything but it's frankly a bit depressing.
Joined on to the City Varieties. Nice and laid back . Shame it's a little bit pricy .

Gorgeous old music hall in the centre of Leeds, within walking distance of the train station. Many famous names have appeared here. Good sight lines, nice bar and helpful staff. - Simon Ramsden
