Union Station Bus Terminal

If your bus leaves in the night or early in the morning, get a jacket or layer yourself as the Grey hound bus station is kind of in the open and it gets cold. Cant imagine the winter :(

A very large facility, of course, as you would expect with a bus terminal. Go inside and take the escalator down a level, and the Starbucks is just on the left. You can't miss it.

take the Bolt Bus to and from NYC. great option for food is Roti .

Always make sure to arrive early so you can be the first on queue to board the bus , otherwise you might have to wait for the next bus .

When preparing to board the bus have your ticket and ID ready in your hands. Also, if you have a preferred place to sit on the bus be sure to arrive at least 20-30 mins early to get in line .

Don't come late!!! If your bus leaves at 5:15... Come AT LEAST by 5... Because this check -in woman in the am is intense.... If you're late...or think you're getting a standby ticket with cash. Lol

Get here early...the lines can be long. Usually there's time for a Starbucks run.

Arrive at least 2 hrs before your bus boards. Many buses start lining passengers up a half hour before departure.

Buses take longer, but are generally significantly cheaper. Book in advanced and you'll be spending almost nothing on commute.
