Everything we tried was so delicious! The service was fast & friendly , and the atmosphere was loungy & fun. Happy to hear of a new museum district bistro . Fantastic place!

RayRico®™

Delicious food and great service! Had the fried oysters and Lucille's famous buns to start, follower by the oxtails which were amazingly tender and flavorful. Bread pudding was perfect! Great place!!

Christina Brown

Really nice intimate location with some of the best braised oxtails around. A southern cuisine with a twist tucked away in museum district

Creative menu, excellent food, nice ambience. management and staff . Nice to find a great, non-chain Houston restaurant that's not the size of a sports field . Delighted it's my neighborhood .

The hot chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! Come for the brunch , stay for the live jazz !

The soup du jour and Lucille's chili biscuits make a good light lunch if you're not too hungry...or just want room for dessert !

Aerie Ellis

Great for brunch ! Loved the shrimp and grits as well as the spicy Bloody Mary ????

Ashley Russell

The fried green tomatoes are delicious! As well as everything else.

Gina Walton

Pork & Beans and Catfish & Grits are good.

Abby Corcoran

The fried green tomatoes were delicious.

Karina Valdovinos

Delish seared scallops !!!! I've never been a fan of mac n' cheese but this place gave it an interesting twist.

Mo Lishomwa

The grits are to die for. The service is amazing too.

Tricia Lee

The oxtail skillet has literally 2 bites of oxtail in it. Kitchen tries to fool you by overloading you with fingerling potatoes . Opt for something else!

James Hearne

outstanding and well presented soul food ... I will be back!

Patrice Stewart

The Fish and Grits are Amazing!!!!

Marion D

Enough room for dessert ? Get the lemon pie !

Shioma Adrilyn

Nice atmosphere/Wasn't impressed with the food/didn't enjoy the rice pudding or the raspberry sauce that was poured all over

Melissa Ray

Somewhat good depending on what you get but VERY overpriced. Catfish and grits tasted like they came straight from the breakfast aisle, the Quaker oaks one minute grits smh. Bread pudding was dry too

Ana Albarracín Rodriguez

Everything from the brunch is excellent! Delicious fried green tomatoes !

candycane

Not impressed. The fried chicken breeding was soft and soggy. The greens weren't seasoned very well . And the truffle Mac and cheese were very over powered. I was looking for "home cooking". Not here.

No brunch on Saturdays although it's listed on the website. Menu listed several items that weren't available. Only French press coffee , no espresso .

Chasitie Lindsay

Chilli Biscuits are delish!

Chad Brawley

This was THE WORST dining experience I've ever had. I will never eat here again. Incompetent wait staff , disrespectful management and the food is just "ok.." TERRIBLE customer service & etc. NOT GOOD!

Sherridan "Tex" Schwartz

Infused Tiro's Vodkas & oyster sliders

Leah Buentello

Brunch is ok...

Gerrit Stroh

Don't come for the service...seriously.
