The fenced in lawn is a great place to let your kids run around. Most parks in and around the quarter are filled with drunks and litter. So we bring the boy here
Great historical site ! Wish there was some more "behind the scenes" access, but I'm sure there's no funding for it.

Even if you're not a history buff, it's worth checking out. The museum isn't that large; you can see it all in an hour.

We got to see a musical demo from nola park rangers on the top floor. It was a lot of fun!
Cheek out the live music venue upstairs. Local legends hold court here during the day.
