If you can catch a performance , it is great. There is not a lot in the museum about the early days of jazz , which I found disappointing.
Cool building and the exhibits are neat as well , especially the exhibit on the history of the building! Also the Louis Prima exhibit is pretty amazing...the monkey king from Jungle Book ...who knew?!
Professor Long hair exhibit . Very inexpensive admission charge and discounts for AAA and students
wonderful place for jazz lovers!!!
Interesting and informative but not so much interactive content. There is some, but mostly it is just images, text and artifacts .
Sorry excuse for the history of jazz in NOLA. Not nearly comprehensive enough.
Not much to see, but it's cheap and the special events and music performances are cool.
Cheek out the live music venue upstairs. Local legends hold court here during the day. - Bryan Davis

One of the best museums I've ever been to. The Road to Japan and Road to Berlin exhibits are so well done! Definitely plan to spend at least 4 hours here. - Rachel Rubin
