The best playground for toddlers in Central Park . Despite the chaos it's quite relaxing, perhaps thanks to the diffused light provided by the tall London Plane trees .

This is really for the little ones (4 and under). Be aware if you go during the day between 10:00am-2:20pm, local private preschools are on it for recess time. So sure it's public, but it gets crowded - Nicole
