This outstanding house beside Hampstead Heath was remodelled by Robert Adam between 1764 and 1779. He transformed the original brick building into a majestic villa for the great judge, Lord Mansfield.

Kenwood House hosts the most beautiful live out door opera for free every year in the summer. Every age group brings picnics and sits amidst the beauty of the Heath and woods, late into the evening
Absolutely love Kenwood House! The building inside is beautifully restored and kept, full of art including an original Rembrandt . The grounds are wonderful to walk through, especially in the summer.

Skippy the Whippy - don't get ice cream from the vans parked outside. Go to the cafe inside and get the amazing scoops there. I recommend Hokey Pokey flavour.
Lovely to sit outside on a sunny day.
You feel like you move back in time! Great place!
Great museum , but it's very weird they just close rooms when they don't have enough volunteers (but they got two on entrance just to greet you ????????♀️).
If you go for lunch the try the chocolate fudge cake . Extremely yummy.
Check out the cream teas at the cafe !
Free house tour with an extensive collection of 17th century paintings
Ordering and purchasing system is rubbish but food is worth it. Homity pie and rhubarb crumble was a good Sunday combo.
Go earlier in the day before the rooms start to close up

The house is beautiful, paintwork needs attention, seriously falling into disrepair! I hope they sort it soon. Shame to see it disintegrate so.
One of my favourite places in hampstead. £1.30 for a bag of crisps is a bit of a rip off though!
Good collection of paintings
Closed for refurb until autumn, but cafe and gardens still open!
Searcy's have taken over the catering . Disorganised and not enough staff . Limited choices
