Nice and rich pork ramen . Simple but pure. Also got the chicken katsu . While tasty it cooled off quickly, probably because there was enough to feed 4 people. Portions here are HUGE (not in a bad way).

Cheap sushi with extremely large cuts and portions. Taste is okay. Feels very rush though, I sat down for less than 5 mins and the man has already asked me twice if I'm ready to order yet.

This place was so horrible. Don't get the #1. It was all nasty fake crab meat with tons of mayo . The caterpillar roll had no eel . The salmon sashimi was old, cold, and stale. Wish we saved our $50..

This place adds a ton of mayo , after ordering certain rolls you will begin to notice that the only difference between them is the size. Service is usually average to non-existent.

The yakitori was not good. Huge pieces of chicken . No flavor and just a sticky sauce. Pass on this dish.

I'm not sure why there is a line outside ofthis place... I've been here twice and it tastes terrible! They put so much mayo in their rolls it makes you vomit. Go to Joy across the street instead!

Best sushi in downtown san mateo

All the teriyaki meats taste like pre-cooked and reheated. Meat is flavorless, tough, and dry. Teriyaki sauce extremely watered down.

Generous sashimi for their lunch combos .
