I think if you live in the area, this is a great little gem to have nearby, great fish , fun atmosphere . I don't think it's worth coming to from SF, better options. Good from "local" perspective though

Been coming here for 15+ years. Sushi is always well-made with quality fish . Looking for something different? Try the mushroom soup ! Best vegetarian soup I've ever had.

Family owned and run, good all around Japanese food from sushi to grill. The fish quality is good, but not excellent.

We ate spicy tuna , spider roll , rock’n roll , salmon maki all of them was incredible..gyoza was amazing and almond shrimp tempura ..

This place was recommended by a friend. He statement was the best sushi around. He wasn't lying. The food was perfect in taste and potion for the price. Will be coming back again

The tuna poke is presented like a tartare and is very good. Salmon & avocado roll also tasty. Pomegranate saketini is sweet, but not too sugary.

Robata everything. Turn up at opening time dinner summer when students are gone for the shortest wait. Or, hit their new takeout spot in Northside gourmet ghetto.

Probably the best casual sushi place in the East Bay . Try the nabe as well if you're craving a little warmth on a chilly day.

Great sushi place! Everything was very fresh and delicious. Try the black cod and the spider roll .

This place was good, but expensive . Didn't have many of the items we requested. No uni. No butter fish/walu. The server was able to suggest alternatives. Garlic albacore was amazing.

The best sushi in the east bay . Always get ocean trout . Sushi chefs are very nice. ALWAYS PACKED SO EXPECT TO WAIT.

Good quality fish in sushi and sashimi . Rolls were ok but nothing special. Noodles were fantastic. Watch out if you come for lunch because they close the kitchen early
