It's truly a gift to have an ice rink in Central Park surrounded by skyscrapers . The rent the skates if you don't have them and there's no limit in time: you can skate until the rink is close.
It is quite expensive but u have to do it at least once. If u have ur own skates I suggest u use those that way u save urself skate hire monies. Bring ur own lock as well for the lockers .
Make sure you stop at the bank first, they only accept cash! Try and get there at the start of the session for the nicest ice.
Ice skating in Central Park , a true NY holiday experience. Not as touristy as Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park rinks and has way more space. Best to visit in November when the trees are still alive

An awesome New York City winter experience, but expect to wait in a long line and skate to no Holiday music ! There's no timed entry as we got in an hour after our purchased time slot.
Amazing !! Ice skating its cheaper than Rockefeller ice ring and bigger !!! We had sooo much fun!!!
A good stop if you're touring the park . The rental skates are complete garbage but the rest of the experience is fun.

Nice on paper, a zoo in person. Good for a few a few spins and some Central Park pics, but that's about it. Also cash only .

Best panorama and nice rink
Yellow doggie for $25 but there’s nothing you can do if you’re with kids.
Skating during the day is beautiful but... you will have to deal with all the children who do not have traffic notions. ;)
Usually a little less crowded than Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park .
Beautiful at night. Ice skating with a view , what more to ask for.
Cash Only ! There is an ATM inside...don't walk around Central Park looking for one like I did...
Love this place but the staff is annoying, there is no sign that I can't take a picture there.
