DC Department of Motor Vehicles

Came at 8:30 on a Sat morning. Wait was about 30 min, so bring a book or something to do. Once my slot came up they were super efficient and friendly . Finished my license address update in ~15 min.

This is the Cadillac of DC DMVs. Celebrate the swift(ish), nice service with a pizza & bottle of wine at nearby Menomale.

Best location so far. It's nice and clean inside. The employees are genuinely nice and there to get you in and out.

I've been waiting for an hour now and I'm pretty sure I could leave right now, metro to any other DC DMV location, and her through their wait in the time it will take me to be seen (or better!)

I mean, it's the DMV. Bring the right papers, then bring back-ups to those and still be prepared to be turned away for missing something.

It's really close to the Metro station . Take a left when you walk out of the entrance. There's a blue awning that reads "DC DMV " straight ahead.

Clean fast scored a parking space on street in front of building ????????????????

Only needed a residential parking permit and new registration card but that was my fastest DMV experience ever

Really quite efficient here. I wouldn't say pleasant but very tolerable for a DMV.
