I've been eating at Chat Thai in Randwick for years- an institution- great to be able to have their authentic Thai cuisine in the city at affordable prices with the standards you expect from chatthai
EVERYONE is chatting about Chat Thai! If you have not been here, get here. The food is simply to die for and is reasonably priced. We recommend Chicken Pad Siew, Pad Thai or Laksa for only $7.50.
Wish the menu explained what some of the dishes include...it's always busy here so never tempted to hold up the line asking.
Authentic Thai food , reasonable priced range from a$10.90-a$18. Cozy corner n lots of seating room.
Service is really quick so drop by here during a quick lunch break. And the pad si-ew is amazing!

My favourite is the Beef Boat Noodle soup :) Sprinkle some chilli powder if you like it spicy ...
Pork belly fried rice . But ask them not to burn it.
If they say it's spicy , it's SPICY so be careful. #20 with fried egg is my favourite. Don't forget to try the sweet Thai iced coffee .
Tried the #22 with an egg : fantastic ground chicken and cahill with basil and rice .

The best som tum (papaya salad ) ever... And also pad gra paw & boat noodle soup .
Food is great, but order with care: some of the pictures don't match what it actually looks like (just mislabeled, not deceptive)
