If you don't care for satay or just feel like a healthy meal for a change I can recommend getting the thunder tea rice . Rice with lots of veggies that comes with a herb-laden broth to mix it with.
Eat at The Satay 7-8 on the side street. better than the places inside. go for the beef and prawn sticks... have your wet tissues with you. there is free WiFi all over the place👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Best satay , stall 8-9. Classic Indian stall inside - everything is authentic and delish, try biryani rice + butter chicken + spicy spinach !
Make sure to be on time and try some dumplings from Tim Sum, best dumplings in Singapore, Then you can go outside for some mutton and prawn satay , you can buy a draught of Tiger beer at a good price
Power satay would be my stall or choice when it comes to grilled prawns and awesome satay skewers !
Great spot for street food , open till 1am. Best is stall 8 and the food is super delicious🍢 add the Duck from the next stall. Wash it down with cold beer ! 🍻 Amazing local experience in Singapore! 🦁
One of the best food court in CBD....all types of cuisines...great space....and high quality food...can't get enough of it...can try different delicacies all month without having to repeat....
Variety of foods available, you can definitely find something new to eat here every time. Tip: get a dedicated card and pay with that. No need for cash and you even get a 5%/10% discount !
Try the Roti and Egg prata from the stall/food cart near the Satay stalls ! Amazing!
Of course satay stall #7 and #8 is awesome. But if you feel like having something else than satay , roasted delight is an excellent choice. The noodle is nice and chewy
I wish I could walk thousands of miles just to eat the oyster omelet at Lau Pa Sat. So far one of the best meals served there. Free wifi available like in most of food courts in Singapore.
victorian style building food court in the central business district. Many dishes sold here, no worries about HALAL status that we can choose, even plate & cutlery separated from non halal #CulinarySG
Enjoy the open air barbeque in the evening and try a variety of Indian, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine . Wantons , noodles , satays and more!
Probably the most touristy of hawker markets in Singapore, but still a great experience. In the evenings they also close the street outside and vendors sell satay .
One of the few outdoor food markets left in Singapore. Grab a seat and select from myriad of food outlets. Have the sweet chilli crab ! You can drink the sauce. Great spot
Insanely delicious hawker market with stalls for everything from noodle soups to northern Indian food to fresh juices .
Came here numerous times in the span of a week and tried a large variety of food stalls . Everything we had was great!
If you are looking for something cheaper there is a stand with variety of vegetables , meat and fish for 1-2SGD. Korean food is also very good there.
The vegetarian tendon set from the udon stall is satisfying, especially their kakiage. $6.80
One of the better known Hawker Centers, at night they close down one of the side roads (I think Robinson), set up little tables, and bring you lots of grilled meat on sticks. It's great.
Newly renovated Lau Pa Sat finally opened after almost a year! Do chk out new offerings like Turkish and Costa Rican dishes. There's 24h stalls for u nite owls as well . Enjoy better ventilation too!
It is definitely more upmarket than other hawkers but doesn’t feel touristy . Great live music in there on certain days, wide Asian choice and drinks to choose. #
Street food ! If you're hungry from walking all over marina bay you could go here and try their street food . There's enough to choose from and so many barbecue !
Always good here, arrive between 7pm and 8pm for the best chance to get a seat. Some of the hawkers are quite pushy, but just say no and only buy what you really want. Its a little expensive
If you can’t take the day heat, come after 8 pm. Cooler & less crowded . Go for satay & fried oyster egg
Great hawks place just in the heart of the financial district. The satay is probably the best choice.
Many food choices available! Especially love the halal chicken rice and kimchi fried rice ! There's even a bakery in the middle of the food court . Use your kopitiam card for 10% discount .
Come in the evening as the side road will be closed where vendors set up stalls and makeshift tables and chairs. Order the satays and bring along some wet wipes! Toilets are available too.
I've been here 10+ times & have tried 10+ dishes. LOVED: 1) Iga Bakar Penyet @ Kantin Aneka #90 2) Sugar Cane Juice . FAILED: Crystal Dumplings @ little HK. See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: Read more
Originally used as market (Lau Pa Sat means 'old market ' in Hokkien), this wrought-iron canopy was freighted out from Glasgow in 1894.
Going for Satay on a Saturday? Go to stall 7-8 and order prawns , they are the best! The prawns are even peeled for you.
Awesome late-night eats, check out the satay market out back too. Lots of food here is killer. The dim sum stand is solid!
Best cereal prawn in SG! I ordered it from the staff in orange shirts .
Famous food market for local food and will offer bbq at night. Many choices with reasonable prices.
Supper from Satay stall no. 7 & 8 (for tourist 's standard), & other BBQ stuff. The nice BBQ chicken wings & rojak stall is hidden at a corner on the right side of Boon Tat Seafood stall.
Reopened with new facilities. Improved ventilation with huge fan installation. Thumbs up for the renovation project.
My SG local bff was surprised to know i had lunch in this rundown market . But, its here where I tasted the most delicious chicken rice at only $3. Lol.
Turkish Cuisine , a stall with Döner (lamp and chicken ) in pide bread . Yummy! You find at the outer ring.
If you're a regular, get the Kopitiam card for SGD2. If you pay using the card, every transaction gives you a 10% discount
we tried chili crab and cereal prawn and for someone who is not into spicy food ,I did love it!
Proper carpark at Asia Square / One Shenton new condominium spacious multi-storey carpark. { Meanwhile, the next door SGX Building & Robinson Point carparks are too narrow for me :-P }
The Thunder Tea Rice stall serves one of the better versions of the Hakka dish, according to food editor Tan Hsueh Yun. What do you think? Source: Sunday Times
Satay stalls #7-8! Classic Indian + Costa Rican. Delish!
what Lau Pa Sat used to be in 1894. It was the octagonal Telok Ayer Market . Image: Taken from one of the stalls
This is a food court with a lot of choices in cuisines like local Singaporean, indian, Korean, Vietnamese, Turkish, western, etc
Everything you can wish for. Try satay and chili crab . Bring your own tissues, mean people are going around tables, selling it for several dollars.
Thunder rice .... Something different. Must try the green veg soup . Has its own character.
Satay stall No. 8 (7&8) is yummy. Prawn and Mutton are my favorite
SATAY. Stalls open late , ignore the tissue sellers and the touts and remain focused.
Thunder Tea Rice is pretty good and healthier than most options there. Still affordable too.
Stall No. 8 is our favorite. Prawns are yummy 😋 - Sawit K.
A must-try in lau pa sat. Very interesting, healthy, and different from other food around. Ask for extra toppings, usually comes free. - N N
Naan and roti are both very nice. Non/Less spicy can be requested. Afghan tikka was super good. Too much A/C though. - Tas (✿╹◡╹)
Adore the hainanese curry rice! The pork chop is really yum - Sze Yen
Fish soup at the front row very delicious. Worth trying. - Jackson Tan
Stall 56 have a nice honey baby squid! Crunchy and sweet nicely cooked! Best lahhh! - Syarfa Jam
Great place to visit. Filled with luxury shops but if you don't want to buy something, it's nice to sit at the coffee shops too. - Coco Cat
