Anything but Standard ! A stylish and upbeat restaurant , perfect for a fun meal with friends. We go crazy for the brasserie-style menu, and can’t help but order a Burger and a Penny Drop !
Come on Sunday afternoon for brunch and get the amazing breakfast sandwich - simple, yet delicious. Then, come back at night for Bingo (with a reservation ) - it's the best Sunday night party around!
Really friendly staff . Cocktails were excellent. Loved the mussels but almost every single one had a pearl in them? Hard to eat but they were delicious. The fries were great too.
Delicious - loved the steak , deal closer dessert , kale and spinach veggies . Brady had the millionaires chicken and it was good but not great. He liked the lobster chowder . Oysters good.
Want to feel like a real trendy New Yorker? This is such a cool, cozy place! Loved all the candle lighting . Btw, food is awesome too! Try the dry-aged beef , melts in your mouth. End with applecrumble!
Fantastic food with fantastic service. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable and although there could be a little wait, it's well worth it! Wonderful whitefish 🐟
H it The Standard Grill for charcuterie and a stiff drink, then end your night at the rooftop bar , an AstroTurf-covered wonderland where world-class DJs such as Juan Maclean mix beats Read more
The shrimp n grits were awesome! Nice smoky flavor . Get the 7 grain toast on the side. Great coffee on top of the atmosphere as well . Sit in different rooms. Have a different experience each time.
Octopus is so good and the steak w/ chimmichuri sauce is amazing with fries . Best fries in NYC. Service is ok, not the best and a bit slow but the food makes up for it. Good atmosphere very trendy .
I had the eggs benedict here about 3 weeks ago and I'm still thinking about them. No breakfast will ever compare to the delight and beauty of that flawless breakfast entrée.
Great ambiance. Perfect for a dinner date in the summertime. Be ready to spend $80 for two people (just entree and drink). It would be more with appetizers and desserts . Good food.
Hip and trendy and the perfect place to eat well whilst people watching . It's location is perfect to then take a stroll on the NY High Line .
The French toast had the perfect amount of fluff and crunch. Charming decor and staff . Photo booth downstairs near the bathrooms . Even the bathrooms were thoughtfully designed.
Kicked off the evening with a cool dozen oysters , followed by NY strip steak cooked to perfection. My only gripe was dessert . Sorbet flavors delivered differed from what was promised.
Top service and food here. Enjoy east coast life with cape may oysters , try the Bangkok style steak salad - you will not be disappointed! Heavy Euro crowd but what can you do?
El Gringo Cocktail : this got bumped from the menu but proved so popular that the bar can make it on demand: tequila , tarragon-infused triple sec , muddled jalapeño , housemade sour mix , smoked sea salt
No longer many "kosher " options. The salad nicoise is really just seared tuna on some arugula with veggies and string beans . Great vibe, fresh bread and delicious sancerre ! Broccoli rabe was a hit.
The French toast is very fluffy, which makes it a light sweet option for brunch . The latte was too foamy for my taste. Check out the bathroom , which you reach from a corridor of mirrors.
Over all great. Steak is AMAZING. Cocktails are good and the ambiance is nice. Not too uptight but not too casual . Bar gets busy regularly. Nice for dates and to start the night off.
One of my faves. Start w/ a dozen oysters and chicken liver royale, move on to the rib-eye for two, don't miss the duck fat potatoes . Finish w/ a nice Scotch . Not for the faint of heart.
The bartender Ramon makes a great drink called the Penny Drop . This variant includes Diplomático Rum , House Made Ginger Cordial, Lime Juice , Ginger Beer and Fresh Ginger . Great! Read more
If you are hungry and more than 1 person try the rib-eye. It's crazy delicious. Bevare, they have a different late night menu, so better get there early for dinner .
Hungry for a melting experience? Share a succulent ribeye packed with mouthwatering flavour! Top it off with a Deal Closer and a glass of red wine for the full experience...
Chelsea/Meatpacking: Right next to The Standard Beer Garden and beneath the Highline, this great brunch spot even provides outside seating if the weather allows. $12 cocktails and fair priced fare
Great ambience, very low illumination: come in before sunset , if you want to read the menu. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food is great: try the orecchiette (trust me, I'm Italian).
The Brussels Sprouts are amazing. Follow my food journey on Instagram @EricHoRaw!
Officially the best late night menu around...see you soon Truffle Mac & Cheese at 2 am & never mind the "Deal-Closer" late night & at any hour!
Underneath iconic standard hotel right in the meatpacking district. Very good and cosy place with very delicious food and bice people around.
Great brunch ! The food is delicious, the people are sexy, and it is has NYC flair. The perfect place for a brunch date. It will end up at the top of your brunch spot list. Enjoy! Read more
Great ambience, great food and great service. Marco was a lot of fun! Be sure to sit in the outside garden if coming for dinner !
Amazing place! There are delicious options for dinner . Also can be found vagetarian options.
Steak frites are solid. Frites are not shoestring, however. More like steak fries . Still damn good, nice salty crust with a hint of truffle oil .
Breakfast and dinner - I always make sure to experience both when I stay at The Standard . The pasta is surprisingly exceptional.
The salmon was on point. Everything from the atmosphere to the really nice waitresses was better than I thought it would be. Thanks foursquare doe the recommendation!
The perfect meal consists of the Chicken Liver Royale, Million Dollar Roast Chicken , duck fat smashed potatoes and finished off with a bannofee pie ! Mouthwatering!
Try the Hamburger with Bacon And Cheese with side bacon and tomato soup - Awesome, melt in your mouth goodness. Great, creative presentation . Comes w/pickle & fries . Order medium!
Enjoyed delicious cocktails (try the Calamity Jane!) and some snacks in the late afternoon. Get a table on the sidewalk for great people watching .
The food is pretty good, cocktails are even better and the place is really nice to spend time at with one or many friends
Grub Street off-menu drink: El Gringo Cocktail . "The Standard Grill's El Gringo is a combination of tequila , tarragon-infused triple sec , muddled jalapeño , housemade sour mix , and smoked sea salt ."
If they have the "Special" Burger , order it. It's awesom! -The Foodie Magician
The Cold Roasted Corn Soup was scrumptious. I would suggest asking for extra croutons . The pork chop was fabulous. Was possibly cooked a little too long, but the flavor was amazing.
It's a winner for its stylish surroundings & buzzy atmosphere underneath the High Line . The brasserie-style menu always delivers & the tables outside are just made for people-watching, New York style. Read more
Fondue is a timeless palate pleaser that Chef Daniel Silverman has a good handle on, and one that will surely make you glad fondue has made a full return to the food scene.
Brunch on Saturdays is not too busy. Classic dishes done well . 2 poached eggs w/ sourdough $11. Coffee is $4 or Latte for $5 adds up. Very poor service but otherwise a good experience.
Came back almost 6 years laters and it didn’t not disappoint. Great atmosphere, awesome meal.
We loved our appetizers - pork belly salad , and the grilled octopus . Would be nice if their service was up to par with their food.
Take oysters . A green juice . The chicken salad and the sea trout ceviche and you’re in #detox
It is cool, trendy , well located. Burger is terrific. Sadly, No veggy/healthy option as main dish and Bread is... chewing gum. If you go with wine your check for dinner becomes too many expensive .
Brunch cocktails are superior to regular cocktails , and the Standard Grill has a great selection. My favorites are the Bellini and La Bicyclette Rouge. - Kate, Assistant Community Manager
NYC's hippest brunch place , try the northeast coast oysters and the burger is good, too. You might have to wait for a table.
Hesitant between a pretzel or a wurst? Stop and try the Pretzelwurt Amanda; a little bit of both worlds! ♥️ - Salim Afiune Maya
Some of the best scenic rooftop views I've ever experienced. And there's a hot tub! - Sara 🌈⚔🍾
Very hip place with great and unusual views of downtown Manhattan. Great music as well! - Clarka Honziku
A separate tavern and dining room can accommodate any occasion. Diners in the latter area can choose the excellent Seasonal Tasting Menu, six courses of utter perfection. - Lori Luo
Love this place. Don't forget to try amazing tacos al Tacos la no. 1 - Liliana Benitez
