Perfect snorkeling . Bring reef runners, snacks and something to lie on--it's a lava "beach " with minimal services. Go early for peace and calm waters . Still pretty damn great later in the day, though.
Swam with up to 20 dolphins right inside the bay today! Never expected such a magical experience! The snorkeling alone is magnificent.
Was a private bay which only the Ali’i ‘s canoes were permitted to come and go from.
I saw the sea turtle on land and sea. Truly magical
Just swim with a sea turtle , wow!
It's accessible and gets crowded in high season times. If you want quiet and have a car, drive to another spot. - RC
It's amazing place, good for snorkeling & swimming. Many fishes & tortillas. There are a small shop where can buy water & snakes, parking a car & u can rent a camp.) - Аннушка
Superb oceanside environment for learning about this important historic site. Lovely walking trails too and interesting reconstructed dwellings and temples. - Nate Moore
Great free tour. Try the peaberry coffee for a unique and slightly sweeter flavor. - Emily H
Amazing snorkeling and a beautiful monument to Captain Cook. A bit of damage from the earthquake. Get there early to avoid crowds. - Mark J.
