Captain Cook , HI 96704 United States
Inredible snorkeling , this spot gets its name from two steps in the lava rock that visitors use to get in the water. Spot dolphins in the bay . Bring gear and water. Parking is tight so come early.
Some of the best snorkeling on The Big Island . The spot on the left where you see lots of people is the easiest way in & out. Two natural "steps " in the lava drop you in to swim with the fishies.
Easily the best snorkelling I've ever done. So much more activity than Molokini on Maui without the seasickness that comes from the open ocean. And it's free!
Possibly some of the best snorkelling in the Hawaiin islands !! Use the 2 steps to avoid hurting yourself. Urchins do hurt!
Amazing place to snorkel ! I swam with Sea Turtles , Spinner Dolphins and saw all kinds of amazing things!!
Awesome little snorkelling spot . Busy but worth it. If you cant get parking use the national park next door. Same price as the private parking , but you're supporting a good cause.
There are "two steps" to a magical underwater world down there from schools of multicolor fish , massive cavernous plunges of coral, and sea turtles. All you need is a snorkel and you're good to go.
The reef is almost dead, but you can see lots of fish while snorkeling . Watch for the dolphins jumping and spinning. We've actually seen them far out at sunset .
Amazing snorkeling , but it's getting crowded . Parking is a challenge unless you're willing to pay. Be careful on days with big surge!
Tons of fish right where you jump in (that’s at the two steps of lava rock in the middle, of course) ???? ????
There were so many Dolphins ! It's mating season so they were closer to shore! Sea turtles , manna Rays, and so much more!
The best and easiest snorkeling ! Do many turtles and getting in the water is kid and dummy proof
Best snorkeling on the island which you can go to yourself. A definite must go!
Come early. Visibility normally drops towards the afternoon when the wind picks up.
See the tour at City of Reguge first then bring chairs to sit atop the rocks after great snorkeling !
Fun place to snorkel . Make sure to have your own mask
One of the best snorkel spots on the planet. Great times!
Buy your coffee at Kona Lisa Coffee Farm and get directions and tips for snorkeling at Two Step.
See if you can find the underwater ALOHA made of cinder block off to the north side!
A little crazy getting in and out but it's the best place to see the dolphins !
Dolphins be here!
Lots to see out around the point to the lookers left!
Since you are here-check out The City Of Refuge next door and see one of the most sacred sites on the island .
Enter where u see the 2 steps - that's why it's named 2 step . Haha
Best snorkeling on big island , close to city of refuge .
Unfortunately, some of the best snorkeling on the big island . Not that great...
