Superb oceanside environment for learning about this important historic site . Lovely walking trails too and interesting reconstructed dwellings and temples .

Arrive at the park early; the afternoon sun can be brutal, as there is little shade. The self-guided tour takes about an hour. Use caution when exploring by the water, lava rock can be slippery.

Wonderful historic site that tells a fascinating history. The main site can be crowded , so be sure to do the loop trail by the beach that connects to the 1871 trail to see some great other ruins.

A beautiful little spot with a half hour strolls around beautiful huts, trees , and lava rock . A lot of history here

This place is cool! You can do a quick self tour in 30 minutes. Worth a stop for sure!

Beautiful snorkling spot! Beginners, be aware that the waves can get intense along the rocky coast.

Awesome snorkeling right next to the historic site . Plenty of sea turtles :)

Very interesting cultural site that's well worth exploring after a morning snorkel at Two Step.

Best off shore snorkeling down south... Its amazing! Try to find the spelling of ALOHA with rocks under the water out to the right side of bay .

Careful not to step on sea urchins ! Enter by the two step and jump right in to see nice colorful reef! No luck with dolphins that morning :(

Come early to beat the crowds and have the best weather. Storms often move in by the afternoon.

There's a fantastic picnic area you can drive to on the south end of the park . Great for sunsets :)

Stunning place! There are sometimes turtles in the surf here so keep an eye out.

Show up shortly after gate opens for free entry (before 8 probably). Gate open 7am-7pm.

Paid $5 to get in because we didn't realize there was a beach next door. Live and learn

If you snorkel , go to Two Step a 5 min walk away. Wear booties as lava rocks are hot and entry / exit is slippery.
