Hare & Tortoise

There are few places in London that do a decent Singapore Laksa (or 'Curry Laksa ' as it's referred to on the menu here). The Hare & Tortoise is my go to place when I'm craving one. Highly Recommend!

Very well made japanese food ! I love the okonomyaki sticks and teriyaki chicken ! Miso soup and noodle meals are also great!

Ordered tempura udon set. Large portion and reasonable price. Have been there for many times and there are always new menu coming????

Boyfriend and I always order curry laksa and spicy wing sticks! Very reasonably priced, perfect for quick lunch .

It's a really nice place, quick, good prices and bug portions. Try the curry laksa if you are in the mood.

Affordable prices, and super-big portions. Perfect dinner or lunch for a very hungry student. If you can still move after eating everything, you should totally try their mochi ice-cream! :)

If I had to pick favourites I'd say try the Dragon Rolls or the Curry Laksa but really, everything is delicious. Never disappoints.

Yasai tempura was tasty - green beans , bell peppers and pumpkin . The staff were pretty indifferent and the decor was dull, but it was quick, tasty and good value .

Service was really quick and they don't spend time explaining... But the Food ????! Really nice portions, really good food, really good price.

Tantanmian is new! But I didn't like it.. Next time I will get the Curry Laksa . Curry Laksa 萬歲!

The chicken katsu curry is awesome.. Beats Wagamama.

The vegetarian sushi plater is perfect for lunch . 12 pieces for £6, a bargain for the range of of sushi .

penang laksa was quite close to the ones back in singapore. i had the char kwey tiao last time i came here and it was good too! :)

A place for a quick meal . Not expensive but the quality of both sushi and other dishes is average. Duck is probably the best choice.

Great rich Penang prawn mee . Char kuay teow tasty but not very authentic (what's with the carrots and chunky onions ??). Food came fast, but had to ask 3 times and wait ages for a bit of chilli oil !

Queue goes quickly. Main courses are huge, great value . Sushi/Sashimi v fresh. Highly recommended.

This is the 'I want asian food , but without the endless queue, but not the glibbery take-out mush, the real thing, nothing that breaks the bank , but no tourist-trap either'-spot. Always reliable.

Good affordable Japanese food . The salmon teriyaki is really good.

If you like eel you can't miss the Unagi and avocado maki , my fave dish here. The dragon roll is also a great choice.

The char kway teow is good. Comes with lup cheong (Chinese sausage ). Just needs haam (cockles ) and fried pork lard to perfect it.

Love this establishment! Can't go wrong with the Pumpkin Croquettes and Duck Rice ! Totally awesome ... you have to try it!
